Race 1
Trainer Dave Menary holds a strong hand with two top contenders here in (1) DRAGON TIME and (5) LUCKY SPORT. The former - who gets the nod - is a $50K Lexington buy and a full sister to 1:50 pacer Delightful Dragon. The latter - a $53K Forest City purchase, is the first foal out of the unraced 1/2-sister to 1:49 3/5 performer Sportsmanship. (8) HIDDEN DELIGHT is a sharp-looking Millar Farms homebred that could do some damage here is his debut. (6) REAL WILLEY put in two solid qualifying efforts leading to this debut and he can make the ticket.
Race 2
(9) MASS PRODUCTION left hard in the Goodtimes Final, but others had the same idea, so he took a seat in mid-pack. He produced a furious late charge to just miss and he should prove best in here if his gait issues are behind him now. (4) TRY TRY AGAIN has been impressive to date and is the obvious alternative to the choice, but he will need to be faster here to beat that rival. (2) HEAD TURNING JAG has been razor-sharp of late; consider for exacta and tri plays. (5) YO YO MASS was aggressively-driven by Henry last time to a new life's best and although Saftic returns here, he can be a factor racing from close range.
Race 3
(8) R FIRST CLASS exploded to an impressive maiden-breaking score with Filion driving last time. That reinsman sticks here and this isn't the toughest OSS Gold field; top call. (9) LMC MASS GEM was too far back in a slow opening 1/2 last week, but he did close willingly. Roy will probably be blasting early here with $67K on the line. (2) RADICAL ROAD is one to consider using on the bottom as he can get a good spot near the front early and hang around for a slice. (1) RESITA has had some issues lately, but, he is capable of making the ticket here if all is okay.
Race 4
(7) OHFORPETESAKE drops and gets driver Macdonald here and he stands a much better chance of making the front here than he did last week when he was hung out to dry. He can take these a long way. (1) BRANDONS GLORY has developed a sharp closing kick in his past two starts and there should be some solid fractions to chase here; using. (2) CAM ENGINE has won twice in a row racing near the front. Cullen will likely look for a similar trip here. He is another in with a decent shot here. (8) TOP DESIRE was a winner the first time he dropped into this class last week. I prefer others here, but he should share again.
Race 5
(4) CROWN CLASSIC has yet to win this year, but the way he finished his last two suggests a winning effort may be coming soon. Christoforou driving a trotter for trainer Henriksen is always a dangerous combination, too; slight nod. (10) ITS HALLRIGHT has come around quickly with Macdonell driving. Even from the 10-hole here, she is a threat. (2) STUCK IN MY SPANKS gets away from the top sophomore trotting filly in the country here, but she will likely be over bet and she is prone to breaking at times. I would be wary of taking too low a price on this filly. (3) I JASMIN was game in defeat last week, but she is 0 for the last two years, so demand a price if you like her.
Race 6
(7) SCENE A MAGICIAN wasn't disgraced racing in open stakes company in the Goodtimes elimination and a return to sires stakes action likely means a much more aggressive steer is coming here. (6) VERO AMORE BI broke racing in the slop last time. He should bounce back with a much better effort here if he can stay flat. (9) MAGIC NIGHT has finished well in both Mohawk tries and he should be able to get a good spot near the front early here; using. (2) TYCOON SEELSTER has improving form and is in with an upset chance here.
Race 7
(2) LYONS WILLIAM has raced well in every start at Georgian leading up to this and his good late kick should play well in this field; slight nod. (4) MAROMA BEACH was an impressive winner in early June before taking sick. If he is fully recovered, he will be a threat here. (5) DUBIOUS CLAIM continues to put in some good late charges and he is sure to be heard from here. (7) TWIN B COWBOY was Henry's choice over two others - including the choice - and he comes off a sharp effort in New York Sires Stakes. He could take heavy action here and while he looks tough on paper, he has already had three chances in this non-winners of two class this year and came away empty-handed.
Race 8
(1) LADY PING couldn't get to a class-dropping sharp winner in the slop last week, but she gets to take another drop in class and she should be tough here. (8) P L JERICO took a new life's mark racing in a similar class with his trainer driving at Georgian last time. Saftic knows this one well and he will likely be sending him for as far as he goes. (7) OAKLEA WYATT brings some good form with him form Grand River and this isn't the toughest field; consider at a price. (3) AMITYVILLE LINDY can take a piece here if he can stay trotting.
Race 9
(1) BUGATTI is always tough in this class and he should get his preferred spot near the front leaving from the inside; top call. (2) TEA WITH MS MCGILL drops back to a more reasonable spot after getting cooked early vs. better, but he has had lameness issues in the past. Take a good look at him on the track before heading to the windows. (7) CHARMBO ORBIT raced okay in his first start off the claim and he should be closing hard late here. (6) CHARMBO BLITZ has hit the exacta more than 1/2 the time this year and he doesn't look out of place here. He should make the ticket somewhere.
Race 10
(9) LEXUS ROCKY trotted a huge mile uncovered the entire way last week, but he couldn't pass a sharp class-dropper. He looks best here. (3) OLE JACK MAGIC has been racing well out of town and driver Christoforou has had success with him in the past; using. (4) DUH BUBBEES races better on a fast track and he is one to seriously consider in dry conditions. (5) STORMONT WIZARD hasn't won in a long time, but he can take a slice vs. these.
