Race 1

(7) MAGIC PRESTO repelled a stiff challenge from (5) GRAVITATOR last time by producing some devastating late speed. She may just be too good for these right now. The latter went a strong first-up trip and she would have a better chance if she could land in the choice’s pocket early in this mile. (6) ROYAL WITCH is in good form and she can be an exacta factor here. (4) JANDERSON was nailed only late by a very sharp winner last time. She should be on the ticket somewhere.

Race 2

(3) STONEBRIDGE BRASS changes barns and picks Roy following a private sale at the end of May. This isn’t a tough spot. I’ll give him the nod. (2) HAB FAITH is 0 for 10, but you can do worse than take Roy on the choice and McNair on this filly in a suspect field full of question marks. (5) E T PHONE HOME blew up well before the start last time and was refunded for failing to make the fair start pole. Durand, who is typically good with young trotters, had a win here on Monday with a trotter. (7) WINNING LYRIC finished quickly in both qualifiers. He’s worth a look here at a price.

Race 3

(1) ON A SUNNY DAY returned impressively, trotting to a professional first-over win in a new life mark. She looks like she will be very tough to beat here. (7) MRSTERY BEAR should be a speed factor if she stays flat and she almost always brings a good price. (3) PARADISE IMAGE has shown enough speed to be competitive vs. these. She is another who comes off a break, however. (2) PERFECT MASS can pass a few late here for a share.

Race 4

(8) CHEYENNE FORD showed little when claimed, but the barn and driver change can make a big difference here; top call. (10) OUTLAW GUNPOWDER is obviously one of the best in here, but post 10 makes things tougher for him. Still, he should be used in multi-race tickets. (5) BIG MOMENT tripped-out last week, but one that sat on his back enjoyed a similarly nice journey and nailed him approaching the wire. He should be a factor again. (9) CHARMBO ORBIT left hard, took a tuck then re-emerged late to get up but he was poorly gaited at the wire. I will play against him here expecting him to take a minor share.

Race 5

(4) DUBIOUS CLAIM has kicked it into a gear that his rivals just don’t have in his past two starts. While this race looks a bit tougher on paper, he has looked so good that I’ll stick with him here. (9) ROCK ON LINE had sharp speed both early and late to win from the 10 hole in fast time for maidens. He is a must-use for me off that performance. (6) MAJO LOU BEKA ships in with good form for a high percentage barn. He should be a factor here. (3) EAS IDEAL has shown rapid improvement and is another that should be considered in this spot. His sharp tactical speed could have him in a good spot to strike at the head of the lane.

Race 6

(4) SAFEKEEPING was stopped only by the 10-hole last time as she was absolutely flying late. She could be over bet here, but I’ll give her the nod on top. (5) FREE WILLY HANOVER showed late interest vs. much better in his comeback race. He could wake up big-time here. (2) MANY A MAN was out a long way in his seasonal debut over a wet track at Flamboro. He can build off that effort and surprise here. (3) DEEP IMPACT has flashed some ability in the past, but he likely will need a couple of starts here after returning from 9 1/2-month break.

Race 7

(7) BUTTERMILK HANOVER has been racing against better and she flashed some good early speed last time for Cullen. She looks best here. (10) RIDE AWAY SHARK took her lifetime mark of 1:50 1/5 here last summer. She could take these a long way if Jamieson rolls her at the start. (3) THATGIRLISONFIRE can improve here vs. what should be an easier group. She can rally to hit the ticket. (8) JIMMYS LITTLE GIRL couldn’t make any headway late last time as the pace picked up. She is another that could come on late for a share at a price.

Race 8

(1) NEILS GOLDEN GIRL made a big middle move last time to bring a clear lead to the 1/8th pole, but she couldn’t seal the deal. That performance could be a signal that she has hit her best stride and she should be a square price here; slight nod. (2) SHOOT THE THRILL likes this track and drops a level; using. (5) KAMIKAZE LINDY gets Filion following a sharp try. He will take lots of action here, but he fits and is a contender. (3) HETTIES COMMANDER tries hard for whatever he can get. He can take a small slice vs. these.

Race 9

(1) BAD IN PARADISE was tracked down late by one that followed her home last week. Roy will likely look for a helmet to follow here which could tip things his way. (2) MACH MAJORETTE overhauled the choice late to continue a string of good performances. She is a must-use in the late Pick 4. (3) FLIGHT OF AN ANGEL took it on the chin first-up last time and was then passed late by the two above. Any of these three can take this depending on who gets the best trip. (7) MIRACLE MATTY is worth a look for the exotics coming off a sharp London win.

Race 10

(7) SOUTHWIND DIESEL paced his back 1/2 in 53 2/5 last time and now he gets a better post. Expect him to be sent hard off the gate like he was in his April 27 gate-to-wire win. (8) FIREBALL has been in excellent form for several starts and he fits here; using. (4) TEA WITH MS MCGILL parlayed a perfect trip into a win last week, but he looked as sound on the track as he ever has. He can share here despite moving up. (6) C L SPORTACTION is another that brings great form to the big track that merits respect here. (3) ROCK N FANTASY has raced well here in the past for McNair. He can crack the Super or High 5 ticket.
