Race 1
(6) THE POWER OF MANY comes off a well earned win where he worked first over a long way on a very sloppy track. He should be good for another facing these. (2) MEGO MOSS has gone a long time between wins, but his first two starts of the year give hope that trainer Auciello has him moving in the right direction; using. (7) SPICEY VICTOR destroyed easier at Flamboro, now he picks up McNair here. He's worth a look. (5) CHIEVOUS COLE took his life's mark at Mohawk last year. He will be a big price and may crack the Super.
Race 2
(2) OUTLAW GUNPOWDER was third at Woodbine on Monday night in a race where he was first-up racing into an accelerating late pace. He should be tough in here if he goes. (6) STONEBRIDGE FABLE goes for the red-hot Moreau off the claim here in a field where he should do some damage; using. (7) CUNDALINI drops back to the bottom class and he should be in the thick of things. (1) AMBLE OVER HANOVER can follow along near the lead and take a share.
Race 3
(7) ICE HOCKEY HANOVER got closer last week in his 2nd start and he meets a field he can handle here. (10) BLAMEITONTHEWHISKY went too fast early last time. He may get a better trip here from the 10-hole if he can float out and get a mid-pack spot early. (3) HOLIDAY STYLE is well-bred and Filion, who was on for her qualifying win, stays here. She is worth a look at what could be a big price. (1) P L KRISTEN is the only winner in the race. She has a good chance to crack the exotics.
Race 4
(2) OLIVIAS WAY goes to the hot combo of Moreau/Roy looking for her third straight win and she will likely be hard to stop. (5) DONNA PARTY raced well at this track last year and she should be a threat here racing close up. (3) GIA DIAMOND provided the winner's cover last time. She is in good form and could win this with an easier trip. (6) PHEONICIAN GAL is a fringe player best used in the bottom exotic slots.
Race 5
(6) GO LIKE A PRO couldn't keep pace with a sharp winner that was taking his 2nd victory in the class in three days. This gelding fits here and should be prominent throughout. (1) TWICE DRAFTED adds Lasix here which could make a big difference for him; using. (4) WALTER MITTY - a $32K Canadian Yearling sale purchase - is a 1/2 brother to 9-time winner Mitt Jagger, who was a winner in fast time in his debut; consider. (5) POP N LIAM can take another small share here.
Race 6
(5) PAULY WALLY steps up here looking for three straight wins. The manner in which he won his last two suggests he is up to the task. (3) BIG BAD BILL couldn't close into an accelerating late pace last time, but notice he took his life's mark at this track last year. He should be ready to produce a top effort tonight. (2) BEYOMBO exits the same race as Big Bad Bill and he suffered the same fate. He should enter contention. (1) UNDRAFTED is always on the edges it seems. He can make the Tri or Super.
Race 7
(5) CARMENS FLUKE produced his best effort of the year last time out. With a better trip, he can take these. (4) GENTLEMAN JIM held on to win despite drifting out considerably late. He may be over bet here, but he's a contender. (1) IGOCRAZY WITHOUT U won off a sweet trip last time, but she could get another good trip here; using. (6) ROAD LIGHT will likely be sent for the front leaving from a better post. She isn't out of this.
Race 8
(8) TWO SIDES OF LOVE showed more speed last time over Flamboro and now she gets McNair, who may put her right on the point from the outset; slight nod. (5) HOLD IT HANOVER raced greenly in her debut, but she did have some late pace to offer. She could be the one to beat here. (2) OHELLO BLUE CHIP may have some things straightened out judging by her April 7th qualifier. She could surprise here. (1) EROSHA is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.
Race 9
(7) SLY BARAN raced well on a very sloppy track last time when switching to the big circuit. This isn't the toughest field and he could win this racing from close range. (1) GET DECKED is obviously the fastest horse in here, but he takes a suspicious drop after missing some time. Beware taking too low a price on this one. (6) J J MYSTIC STORM rallied to beat the choice last time after being on excess cover, but he couldn't reach the winner. He is in with a decent chance, but he must get moving earlier. (4) WINNING DRIVE can rally for a slice here.
Race 10
(4) MANHATTAN PLAY wasn't asked for anything early in her seasonal debut, but she did have some good late kick and now she leaves from a better post; upset special. (7) ROSELILY changed hands in a private sale after her blowout win on March 23rd and now she is sent out by trainer Moreau. She is no doubt a top contender here, but she is sure to be odds-on and she has missed some time. (2) AMERICAN SARA goes for four straight here and she's not out of this, either. (3) ASK FOR ME was well prepped for her sophomore debut and won nicely, but she will find these tougher; minor share predicted. (5) ON THE MINUTE MARK rarely wins but she can take a share here.
