Race 1
(6) MS MILLER got some valuable exercise vs. the boys prepping for this race. She should be aggressively steered by Roy here; top call. (3) WARAWEE TRIP has come around in her last three starts and she look like the main danger here. (2) DALLIANCE SEELSTER is still winless, but she can take a good piece of this racing from close range. (10) P L LAYLA is one of the best in here, but, she failed at 2/5 last time, which was now 26 days ago and she draws the worst post; playing against.
Race 2
(5) NORTH AND SOUTH has a mile at Kawartha three starts back that is good enough to win this and the trainer hands the reins over to a catch-driver here. Hopefully his price is boosted by his most recent two starts. (2) NOBODYNOSJUSTICE has been solid in this company and his good early speed is an asset; using. (3) STORMONT VENTNOR is consistent and sharp and hard to leave out here despite his miscue last time. (4) DELCREST HOLIDAY is worth a look here as Bax and Byron have teamed up for several big upset wins in the past.
Race 3
(8) NEON MOON is the sharpest in this division and he doesn't need to lead to win; top call. (6) LOVE KILLS had a tightener here Tuesday night and she will be a good price here. She is not impossible in this spot. (2) ASKMYSECRETARY could trip out near the front here; using. (7) AZURE SEELSTER was red-hot before the scratch (sick). She is another that could take this contentious dash.
Race 4
(1) PRESCOTTS HOPE drops into a logical spot here. Expect aggression from Hudon in this spot. (7) TRACEUR HANOVER was a 1:50 winner in this class two back and his race last week from the 10-hole can be tossed; using. (8) OUR DRAGON KING was flying late and just missed racing one class lower last week. He could bring a great price here; consider. (5) MACH CODE drops making his second start back from a break and it wouldn't be a shock if he tripped out in the choice's pocket here.
Race 5
(3) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE has shown on two occasions at this meet that she can produce explosive miles and she seems perfectly managed to take a crack at the $50K here. I'm with her, and the higher the price, the better. (4) SHEWEARSTHEPANTS has been solid all year and she is obviously the one to beat here. (8) C MARY has hit the exacta 9 times out of 14 and she is another that rates highly here. (1) TREASURES PEARL should take at least a slice starting from this post.
Race 6
(8) ROSE RUN SPEEDSTER was nailed late last week, but that start sets him up perfectly for this Grassroots Final and tactics will likely change here. (3) YO YO MASS adds Lasix and he looks like the main danger. (7) CHARMBO CHROME had a perfect trip in the choice's pocket last week and he still needed every inch of racetrack to get there. While he is a contender, I will play to beat him here as his price likely drops. (10) EURO GAP can close late for another slice at big odds.
Race 7
(6) CASIMIR RICHIE P is the 'now' horse and he will no doubt be looking to line them all up behind him early with Henry calling the shots; top call. (7) ZEN DA BALLYKEEL should be a big threat late here as there does appear to be some outside speed that may harass the choice early. (5) PHANTOM SEELSTER is another good closer in with a shot here. (2) LETJIMMTTAKEOVER should be tracking the choice closely early and he could trip out at a price here.
Race 8
(3) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE will be very tough to beat here if he can replicate his September 11th lifetime-best performance. (6) SOUTHWIND GENERAL had a nice tightener for this at Flamboro and he should be right there. (7) MAKASI and (1) KAZIMOTO appear to be the best closers to use on the bottom here.
Race 9
(8) GISELE TREELANE prepped for this with a decent race vs. older mixed company. She is clearly best in this division and she should beat these with a reasonable trip. (7) CRYSTAL GUMDROP wasn't used at all last time. She is capable and expect a much more aggressive approach here. (4) BUSTINGATTHESEAMS is another that is sure to produce a better effort in this final. (10) JILONA is sharp and dangerous, but she must overcome post 10, which is no easy task here.
Race 10
(3) SINTRA 's 26 flat final 1/4 last week wasn't enough to catch (1) NIRVANA SEELSTER, but I think he'll be closer turning for home this time and turn the tables. These are the two you want for the late Pick 4. (6) FOOL ME ONCE can complete the tri again and (4) AMERICAN VIRGIN should be closing for a piece.
Race 11
(2) AMERICAN SARA gets back into a class where she should wake up, but she has also missed three weeks; slight nod. (6) BAD NIGHT MARE continues to race well but she couldn't quite reach the winner last time. She should be a factor here. (4) BUTTERMILK HANOVER is on a roll out of town and she also likes this oval. Toss her in the late Pick 4. (10) ARTISTIC MADISON was dead game last week and if she can clear quickly here, she could double up. (3) SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR will be closing late. She's a good one to use on the bottom.
