SPOT PLAYS: 5 - 12 / $23.70

Race 1

(6) WANDA BAYAMA switches back to Larocque's barn here and the last two times that move was made with this mare, she won; angle play at hopefully a good price. (3) ARTISTIC MADISON has raced well in every start since trainer Waxman returned. She is the obvious one to beat. (7) LIGHTS GO OUT raced tough last time, but she was no match late for a classy returnee. (1) BETTORS UP was one of the better rookie filly pacers last year, but this is a tough spot to return and this race is likely sharpener for a stakes outing in the future.

Race 2

(9) THEE DESPERADO put up a good fight vs. a tough winner last week. He is at the top of his game now and he should be a top contender here. (1) LADY CATERINA won in the non-winners of four class two back vs. similar but she was outclassed last time. The drop back down should put her in the picture here. (4) MUSCLE AVE has been racing well out of town against veterans that have won several races. He fits well here; using. (10) KEEGAN HO returns to the circuit in good form but post 10 is tough; your call.

Race 3

(2) DAZZLING ROCKETTE was an easy winner in this class two back and dropping back down gives her a good shot here. (8) EXHILARATED has faced a steady diet of Mares Preferred company the past few starts and she hasn't been disgraced. She is the other one to fear here. (3) SAYITALL BB was well beaten by the choice last time but the move inside here should get her closer early. She should share. (5) DEWAR N SODA won in this class last week, but she is likely to find the class droppers too tough here.

Race 4

(6) NIRVANA SEELSTER paced two sub-56 halves last week, but came up against a winner that was too powerful. He steps up slightly here, but this assignment could be easier; top call. (4) ER ZACH ATTACK moves up off a win and he could get a similarly good trip here; using. (2) COOL ROCK will get there one of these weeks, but he needs some luck to do it. (3) MACH PRIDE came up against a bearcat last time and he didn't fare poorly, considering. He should take a piece of this.

Race 5

(2) CASIMIR OVERDRIVE raced well in his first start on Lasix last week. He could last longer here with that comeback race under his belt. (9) DOVUTO HANOVER was motoring late in the mile last week. He is an in-and-outer with obvious soundness issues, but he could be good for another sharp effort here. (4) DALTON DID IT drops, adds Lasix and is an obvious one for me to use in the Pick 4 here. (10) SOUTHWIND MASIMO can pass several of these in the lane here and take a share.

Race 6

(6) STUCK IN MY SPANKS was sharp in her return last week, winning as she pleased. This isn't the toughest non-winners of three field; call to repeat. (7) MUSCLESANDMARTINIS closed strongly in his return to the circuit. He could be sitting on a top effort here. (1) PONDAS LEXUS will no doubt get an aggressive steer from Roy here. Toss her on Pick 4 tickets. (5) LIFE WELL LIVED should fare better in his 2nd start of the season. Consider him when making Tri and Super selections.

Race 7

(5) MAGNUM J holds a wide class advantage on these and unless he is rusty off the bench, he should take care of this group easily. (7) SECRECY was on a roll until he met First Car. He's a nice gelding, but he won't be a match for the choice, either, if that one is on his game. (1) MAJOR HILL should fare better here leaving from the inside and not having to face the white-hot Jins Shark. (6) ELECTRIC WESTERN closed well late in the mile last week. He can come on late here for a slice, too.

Race 8

(3) EASY LOVER HANOVER will have to drop three seconds here, but trainer Wallace sends them ready and he could be auditioning for a spot in the Molson Pace in 3 weeks, so, it could be all systems go here. (5) JINS SHARK is the sharpest horse on the grounds and he will take beating here. (8) AMERICAN VIRGIN got a brutal trip last time and still almost got there. The top two combined with his post may lead to his undoing again this time. (6) ELLIS PARK looks ready to roll, but he always takes a few starts to reach his best form. I'd tread lightly here.

Race 9

(4) MACH CODE left with the car last week, yielded, then made a second move to secure the runner-up spot to an unbeatable winner. He gets his favorite pilot back here and he should be tough. (5) EVENIN OF PLEASURE continues to work towards a defense of his Molson Pace title, so it's hard to predict what his strategy will be, but he obviously fits well here. (8) PRESCOTTS HOPE impressively drove away late despite mixing it up chasing rapid early fractions last week. He is a renewed gelding racing hoppled and he can't be counted out here. (2) FINE DIAMOND could be tripped out by Roy here following the leaders from close range. I'll use him as a saver in the late Pick 4.

Race 10

(6) LISVINNIE has looked sound in recent starts and he is holding his form well. He can take this with a decent trip. (7) DIALAMARA gets to take a big class plunge here. He is impossible to leave out. (1) BLISSFULL YEARS had every chance last time with open road in the lane, but the top two were too tough. He figures here, but he tends to be win-shy. (5) JIMMY BE GOOD fits okay in this class and this isn't the toughest field; using.

Race 11

(1) AUDREYS DREAM takes a big drop here and he should have lots of pace to chase. He should be able to work out a winning trip from 2nd or 3rd over. (8) PANEDICTINE is one of several that goes for new connections here, which makes this race tricky; exacta factor. (6) MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS had nothing to offer last time, but a quick turnaround off the claim wouldn't shock. (5) COBALT MAN is in solid form and he should get a decent trip near the front here. (10) PAR INTENDED will be far back early, but he can pass many of these and take a slice.
