Race 1
(8) MIGHTY NICKY drops and gets in against a field where there should be enough early speed to set up his good late kick; slight nod. (7) AMOREUSE HANOVER is always a threat at this level and her lone win last year came at this track; using. (9) PREMIER GLITTER is the only other horse in the field to produce a sub-29 final 1/4 recently and she's worth a look in this spot. (1) GUSCREST shouldn't get hung out here like he did last time but there is other front-end speed in here to worry about.
Race 2
(5) FIRST CAR is razor-sharp right now and facing tougher here should bring a much better price. I'll stick with him here. (1) SECRECY is also on a roll and he doesn't need to be on the lead to win. He should be a big threat here. (7) MAJOR HILL likes Mohawk and he should take at least a slice here. (6) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT should pass a few of these late to make the Tri or Super.
Race 3
(1) AMAZING PERCH was an impressive winner off the claim, now he meets similar. Stick with the hot horse. (2) BIG YELLOW's form is darkened a bit by some tough recent trips. He is capable and may be a big overlay here. (6) LYONS DELIGHT was a good second to the choice last time. He can threaten here, too. (8) HIGHPOINT CHIP lost all hope at the start last time. He's capable of better and may hit the board at a price here.
Race 4
(9) LISVINNIE goes through some pretty big swings in soundness at times, but last week he looked really good and he was unlucky to be beaten by one that stayed in and found room late. He could take this at a nice price if he is just as sound. Take a good look at him on the track before plunging. (8) BOOMBOOM BALLYKEEL took two sub-1:51 wins over this track last summer. He should like this class drop; using. (6) CHEYENNE REIDER is capable of jumping up with a big effort here with a tightener under his belt; beware. (2) SHIPPEN OUT drops slightly and he may be more aggressive at the start here which would help his cause.
Race 5
(1) REDONKULOUS meets a field where there could be some tussling for the front end. If Cullen keeps him covered up most of the way and finds room late, he might go zooming by at a big price right on the wire. (2) FINE DIAMOND drops again and figures here. (4) JINS SHARK also drops and gets his favorite driver back. He's hard to leave out. (8) COOL ROCK races well at this track and he can pass many of these late and take a slice.
Race 6
(5) UFDRAGONS ROCKET rolls into town on a big roll, goes for a trainer that sends them ready and picks up the hot driver; top call. (3) DALTON DID IT couldn't reach a pocket rocket last time, but he could get that kind of trip himself here; using. (1) MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS figures, but you have to wonder if he isn't wearing down a bit from being raced so hard several times in March. (8) REUBEN BROGDEN N should go better in his 2nd race over the track; consider for exotics.
Race 7
(2) ARTISTIC MADISON has improved sharply since Waxman took the training back over three starts back. She should take these a long way on the engine. (4) TIMMYLYNN threw in a clunker racing over an off track last time, but Roy sticks here, so it makes sense to use her on Pick 4 tickets. (3) DAZZLING ROCKETTE rallied to beat much easier last time. A minor share is likely her ceiling here. (10) VOODOO CHARM was wildly overbet last week but she could rally for a piece here at a big price.
Race 8
(3) TRACEUR HANOVER took his speed badge over this track last year and he should be formidable in here despite the slight class rise off his win last week. (9) NIRVANA SEELSTER historically does his best work at this meet and if he blasts off early, he could take a big share at a square price. (2) RESISTANCE FUTILE has been in solid form for a few weeks and he too could take this contentious dash with a good trip. (4) MOHAWK WARRIOR has been having issues getting a win, but he always seems to be around the money and he could better this placing.
Race 9
(1) DINNER AT THE MET was predictably overbet last week, but he did race very well to get third. There should be enough battling for the front to set up his potent late kick here if Drury has him in position to capitalize at the 3/4 pole. (9) FOOL ME ONCE goes for hot trainer Moreau here and he has plenty of speed to offer. The big question will be if he can clear early enough. (5) MACH PRIDE set some serious splits last time which set the race up perfectly for the pocket sitter. His speed is dangerous here. (7) PAR INTENDED should be closing for a minor share here.
Race 10
(8) DON MCWHITE rallied strongly to take a new life's mark last week vs. cheaper. The pace scenario seems to be in his favor here; call to repeat. (3) WEATHERLY does well at this track and the class drop should help here. Expect an aggressive drive from Henry. (5) UF BETTORS HANOVER is sharp, but he always lands on the edges. Expect more of the same here. (1) IDEAL JET is another that typically takes smaller shares. (6) IMSPORTY paced a big mile last time, but that was against easier. He isn't out of this, but is more likely to fill one of the bottom exotic rungs.
