(5) XTERNAL faces easier here after chasing some wicked fractions and holding on reasonably well last time; top call. (1) SAULSBROOK LANNY also lands in a better spot and he is sure to be heard from late in the mile here. (8) RED JOHN won last time he raced in this class on August 28th and he should improve here. (6) BADSTORMANYPORT will be there early, but he is unlike to last vs. these; small share predicted.
Race 2
(4) MOONSTAR MISSION has missed some time since returning from a break with a win, but that mile was so impressive that I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here; call to repeat. (5) THE ERM took a shuffle last time but she did have trot late in the mile; using. (2) SWEET OF MY HEART may try to bottom this field out, but she will likely have a hard time holding off the top two down the lane. (3) HEAD TURNING JAG should take a share as he always seems to be around the money.
Race 3
(6) DOVUTO HANOVER was full of pace late in the mile last time, but he was simply too far back to make much of an impact. Starting from a better post, he should blast off early here and ‘play catch me if you can’. (8) MAJOR HILL steps up off a sharp win, but he's beaten better before. (4) MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS steps up off a phenomenal mile where he was out the route and still managed to get up. Toss him in Pick 5 bets. (1) MACH CODE is another that could win this contentious dash with the right trip; using.
Race 4
(7) DREAMY FELLA was driven to a new life's mark by McNair two starts back and he returns here; top call. (2) SMALLTOWN TERROR finishes well every week. It's only a matter of time before he wins one; using. (9) PHYSICALLYINCLINED gets the trainer back driving after the owner stepped in to drive for a race. He could be tough in here. (5) TOOT TOOT N looks ready to produce a decent effort off the shelf here in another race that has several contenders.
Race 5
(2) RENEGADE MAGIC drops back to the level where she has been most competitive recently; slight nod. (3) IL SOGNO DREAM exits miles won by two very strong winners in his past two starts. This should be an easier spot for him. (4) WHISKEY TAX hasn't been able to convert all year, but this is a decent spot for him and he is another contender here. (1) CHARLIE IS A JOKER can take a smaller share racing from close range.
Race 6
(4) DUBIOUS CLAIM impressively knifed his way through an extreme head wind to get up to win last time. He stands a decent chance to take another here. (2) ALL IT TAKES has a good chance to bounce back in this non-winners of three class. (8) ROLLAROUNDTHEWORLD wasn't asked for much until late last time and he did a good job cutting through the wind behind the choice. He should share here. (1) KAZIMOTO is another to consider for the bottom rung of Tri and Super bets starting from the inside.
Race 7
(9) TOM HILL has been finishing fast recently; perhaps Drury rolls him to the front early or down the backside here which should make him tough to catch. (5) PRESCOTTS HOPE is sharp and dangerous; using. (3) NO BU steps back up off an upset win but he can close for a share here. (4) MOHAWK WARRIOR usually races well over this track, but rarely wins here; small share predicted.
Race 8
(5) EVENIN OF PLEASURE drops to a logical spot here and he likely takes this racing on the front end or coming from the pocket down the lane as he has done so many times before. (6) MAKE SOME LUCK couldn't catch a game Ellis Park last time, but he fits well here and he should be right there. (2) CHAMPAGNE PHIL is always in the mix. He's hard to leave off trifecta tickets. (1) BRILLIANT STRIKE N steps up off a win where he got a good trip. He will likely find the top ones too tough here.
Race 9
(1) ODDS ON AMETHYST looked like his old self last time. I'll give him the nod off that impressive win despite the big class jump here. (7) MUSICAL RHYTHM is the one to beat if he stays flat this time. (4) MAJOR ATHENS is in good from and he races effectively from anywhere when he is on his game; consider for exotics. (5) CATCH THE DREAM can close for a smaller share here.
Race 10
(2) ITS A BIG SECRET was so impressive beating claimers - and taking a new life's mark doing it - that he gets top call here. (3) RISE UP NOW continues to pile up wins although he typically finds it tougher racing here and I wouldn't take a short price on him. (7) PAPARAZZI HANOVER drops and he should be prominent throughout; using in the late Pick 4. (1) IMSPORTY can take a share here starting from the inside. (4) BALLERAT BOOMERANG is turning into a bit of an in-and-outer which makes him hard to predict from week to week; small share expected here.
