(4) ROCKIN RONNIE survived an eventful trip to win last time and he returns to the same class here where he typically is tough to beat; top call. (3) SIX BEFORE SEVEN needs to be closer turning for home, but if he is, he has a shot to upset the choice. (6) THE BIG BEAST should take another share here racing close up. (1) TRISUN has generated good late energy in both of his last two starts and he should be coming late again here.
Race 2
(2) MANCHEGO has been nothing short of sensational so far and I don't see her getting beat here. (5) LIMA NOVELTY also has an unblemished record, but he steps out of New York Sires Stakes into the fire here. She would need to chop significant time to challenge the choice. (4) JORDAN BLUE CHIP has been solid so far and she should make the ticket here again. (6) COURTNEY HANOVER will likely face a much swifter early pace this time; small share predicted.
Race 3
(9) PHAETOSIVE's only loss has come to the division leader last time out. She should get back on track here. (2) BELLA GLOS had a race over the track and now she moves inside. (1) TIFFANYS FLASH is a good one to use underneath and she should get a nice trip here. (6) CIAO DOLCE is impeccably-bred and she could sneak onto the ticket here.
Race 4
(1) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE is on a roll and he will likely be hard to stop here. (7) PRAIRIECREEKPRINCE is developing a good closing kick and he should be heard from late in the mile again here. He picked up driver Gingras at scratch time as Jamieson opted for (8) FRONTIER SEELSTER, who uncharacteristically stopped to a walk in the lane last time. Perhaps something went amiss that might be fixed now. (2) DREAM OF LUCK is capable of better and he could trip out near the front this time.
Race 5
(2) SAMO DIFFERENT DAY looks fastest here, although the breaks before and after the start last time are a bit concerning. (1) CRUISING IN STYLE almost stole a Grand Circuit win here last week. He might be the one to catch again and notice Bartlett takes the reins here. (6) KINDA LUCKY LINDY closed well here last week and he is another in with a chance with the progression he is showing. (10) MAXUS is dangerous here despite his post, going for Takter and Gingras.
Race 6
(6) ELUSIVE MISTRESS raced okay in her debut and being a full-sister to three winners, it shouldn't take her too long for her to break through. (4) FLY FLY SELENA is another making her second start in a field where here opponents are a combine 0 for 105; using. (2) MR HOUDINI disappeared at the start last time, but moving inside he should be much closer to the early lead here. He can share. (3) ALERT HANOVER comes off an improved race and he can hit the ticket here racing from close range.
Race 7
(7) THE DARK SHADOW has hot his best stride recently and he should be tough in here racing on or close to the lead. (9) KAZIMOTO is another who is getting good as the Grassroots final gets closer. Toss him on Pick 4 tickets despite the post. (5) SOUTHWIND GENERAL should be close here, but he tends to get overbet regularly for some reason. (6) WESTERN PHIL has a great in-the-money record. He can hit the ticket here racing in the top flight.
Race 8
(3) YOU KNOW YOU DO is simply the fastest colt in here and if he stays flat, he will be very tough to beat. (2) LAWMAKER raced great last time despite encountering traffic issues when the leader tired at the 3/4 pole. He is an exacta factor again. (5) ALARM DETECTOR was too far back in a slow pace last time. He can be closer here if things go more his way. (9) NIGHT RHYTHM is improving every start; consider for the exotics.
Race 9
(1) NOTROUBLE DECHAFRA doesn't put two good ones together very often, but that will help his price here and he should be prominent if he stays flat. (8) TAURUS DU PARC beat the choice two back when that one broke and he is dangerous here with his good early speed. (4) AMICUS adds trotting hopples here and he's worth a look for the exotics. (9) THE POWER OF MANY may get stung again here from the outermost post; smaller share predicted.
Race 10
(5) MACHAL JORDAN rarely loses when he drops more than one class level; top call. (3) THE ROADIES is better than he showed last week. Perhaps the off track wasn't to his liking; using. (1) OUREA NOURRIR keeps coming close, but the top two may be too much for him here; small share predicted. (4) ROCK THIS WAY had no chance racing first up in a 1:50 flat mile. He can contend here. (6) RESISTANCE FUTILE is good for a smaller slice in this field.
