Race 1
(5) MS NIGHTLIFE - a $130K Harrisburg purchase - finds a good spot to start her career here. I'll give her the nod. (8) STORMONT CHEF faces much easier here following a decent effort in an OSS Gold race. She should be heard from. (2) STRENGTH OF A WOMAN has been trotting home quickly and she should be a contender for the win here if she gets put into the race. (6) WHIP N NEIGH NEIGH can be closer here dropping out of the Grassroots.
Race 2
(7) XANTHOS is getting closer every week; perhaps tonight's the night for him. (8) STORMONT ROYALTY comes off a good parked out effort in Grassroots and she will be right there vs. these if she works out a better trip. (6) P L KNUCKLEHEAD raced better with a catch-driver last time and that pilot sticks here; using. (5) TYMAL TINO can share if he stays flat this time.
Race 3
(5) NIPS BEACH GIRL didn't look the soundest parading last week, but she blitzed the field anyway and she now gets jammed back into the same class. I'll give her the nod grudgingly, but won't be shocked if she goes down here. (3) CASE DISMISSED drops to the bottom and she is one that should wake up and provide a challenge to the choice. (6) SHES A MANIAC gets Cullen back and he could work out a pocket trip here and surprise; using. (7) HEX is worth a look for the exotics coming off a claim and returning quickly.
Race 4
(2) MEGO MOSS just wins and he keeps paying well. I'll stick with him here following two straight wins in the new barn. (4) MYSTERY BET drops and he should be heard from late in the mile here with his good late kick coming to the fore. (3) SMOKE MONKEY steps up off a career-best win, but he will be overbet here and he is no lock in this spot. (5) WINDSONG MAGIC frequently makes the ticket at a price; consider.
Race 5
(6) ROYAL ENGAGEMENT goes for Auciello off the claim here following two solid efforts in a row. She may be a good price stepping out of claimers. I'll take a swing here. (3) ART ANGEL BABY faces easier and adds Lasix. She's in with a shot here despite her poor win record this year so far. (7) PRETTY HOT has tried to advance in accelerating late paces in her last two starts and understandably stalled. She can be much closer here; using in multi-race bets. (9) BLACK WIDOW BABY fires home quickly every week. Use her on the bottom of Tris and Supers.
Race 6
(7) MS MILLER was aggressively-handled and it paid off last time in a Grassroots race. She is one of three that I think can take this, but a similar approach could work here for her. (5) P L LAYLA is unbeaten in Grassroots company and she is the one to fend off here; using. (4) LADYS INTUITION picked up the pace last time and she could surprise here if the top two battle at any point. (1) ALLERAGE STARGAZER was the beneficiary of some very easy splits last week and she held together late to get the job done. I'll play to beat her here expecting that she will get a tougher trip.
Race 7
(6) LEVY TAYLORE gets McNair for the first time in a suspect field. I'll try that profitable angle here. (1) COOL ROCK should go much better here in a race that is sure to not approach the 1:50 barrier; using. (10) PAR INTENDED is one of the best in here, but trip is tough to predict from out there. (2) ROAD RUNNER COLONY has been showing some signs late in his miles and he gets Roy here, which makes him worth using.
Race 8
(7) THE POWER OF MANY wasn't given the best steer last week. I'll bet that she is more aggressively handled here and take her on top. (2) TAURUS DU PARC easily beat the choice but he had a much better trip. He is the other one that you need on your late Pick 4 ticket, however. (4) MOST WANTED LINDY is a great one to use underneath with 15 slices in his past 50 races. (6) TYMAL WIZARD is in with a shot if he gets sent harder for position off the gate this time.
Race 9
(3) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT had no chance against class-plunging Prescotts Hope last time and he could get a good pace setup here in his 2nd try at this class; top call. (5) OUREA NOURIR was flying late, but it took him a long time and heavy urging to get into gear last time. He could be a bit of a sucker bet here. (8) FIRST CAR drops after setting some wild early fractions and he should be the main speed threat here. (6) JACK RACKHAM steps up off a solid win, but he is unlikely to get the same trip this time.
Race 10
(4) WILLYORWONTHE has won several times in the past with Macdonald driving and always at a price; angle play. (2) SKY LAV drops after breaking and he fits well here; using. (7) FLYING ASA A - one of the best in here on form - goes for Vanderkemp after missing 3 1/2 weeks. I think you have to use him in the Pick 4, but beware taking a low price for a win bet. (10) STREAMSONG can close late for a slice despite his post. (3) BURNIN MONEY is another good one to use underneath in this spot.
