Race 1
$100,000 yearling (2) WAR STORY gets a catch-driver here and he should improve on his debut effort; top call, even against older. (7) NORTHERN OATH set a crazy pace last time in a Grassroots race and stopped late. He is one of the best in here, but the driver rarely wins on this circuit. Be wary of taking too low of a win price. (1) LATE SHIFT always looks solid, but she brings a 0 for 19 record into this race; your call. (9) LABERO has come closest with Roy driving. He is in with an outside shot in a weak field.
Race 2
(6) LISVINNIE showed a bit of life when dropped into a claimer last time and he is likely to be third choice in a race that could set up for him; slight nod. (3) NEXT THING SMOKEN goes for Moreau off the claim following a narrow loss. He will be the one to catch. (4) ROCKIN RONNIE took a new life's mark last time, but this claiming handicap is a tougher spot. Beware taking too short a price on him here. (2) CHARMBO ORBIT should be good for another smaller share.
Race 3
(3) GISELE TREELANE races well when she stays flat. She's a good bet to double up here. (7) BUSTINGATTHESEAMS goes for three straight after taking a new life's mark. He looks like the main threat to the choice. (6) P C PIPE DREAM made a menacing move last time, but had to trot a 27 4/5 third quarter to enter contention and stalled as a result. He is in with an outside shot here. (10) CRYSTAL GUMDROP can't seem to get that elusive 2nd win, but, she shares almost every week; consider for exotics.
Race 4
(6) NINETTE B couldn't chase down the first-over winner last week, but she hung in there for second. Now she gets Henry which should mean an aggressive steer. (5) MISS COCO LUCK did well to be second last time considering her journey from post 11; using. (9) BAD NIGHT MARE clicked for Cullen last out and he usually gets them to pace a few good miles in a row once they are going good in his barn. Keep her on multi-race tickets. (8) BAROCKEY was fried early last time and stopped badly as a result. She should go better here.
Race 5
(10) DOTTIE is one I will lean to as she is facing easier here and if she is fit enough now, she could beat these - even from this post. (9) HOLIDAY PARTY also gets class relief here and should wake up with a better effort. (7) BUZZ has been racing okay in similar classes at Yonkers. He's worth a look. (8) STREAMSONG comes off an improved effort last time; consider for exotics.
Race 6
(8) JORDAN BLUE CHIP was conservatively driven last time but she closed well to be 2nd. The improving Chapter Seven filly has a great shot here. (2) SHAZAMM is another that should get put into action earlier this time; using. (3) ALLOVERAGAIN was allowed to walk through sleepy early fractions which then made her uncatchable last week. This final should be much more hotly contested. (1) COURTNEY HANOVER is another to consider, despite her missing leg two when sick.
Race 7
(3) KATIES BEACH was hard-pressed early last week and then she got shuffled out of the race. She could get a better trip up front here and surprise. (9) TOPVILLE CHEETAH should get sent early here by Roy and could provide a perfect pocket for the choice. (4) FASHION ROCKER showed good late energy last week. She's another to consider in a contentious race. (2) JUSTABIT MEAN is a great one to use on the bottom of Supers.
Race 8
(8) THE POWER OF MANY gets Roy going for Moreau off the claim in a cozy spot here; top call. (7) TYMAL WIZARD is worth a look dropping into a claimer and he is likely to be a big price. (4) NOTROUBLE DECHAFRA comes off a good effort, but he rarely wins; small share predicted. (6) AMICUS drops into a claimer off an even effort. He should share.
Race 9
(3) ROYAL ENGAGEMENT steps up off a sharp win but she does pick up Roy off the claim. She looks as good as any in this field and at least has the speed to be up near the front. (1) NIPS BEACH GIRL gets a new trainer, Lasix and Henry. All of those changes should add up to a better result here. (7) JUST BLITZED is one of few in that appears capable of passing horses. Toss her in the late Pick 4. (2) I C ANASTRO had an impossible trip last time. She has a much better chance to do well here getting Hudon.
Race 10
(6) OUREA NOURRIR had an impossible trip last time when racing in one of the World Driving Championship legs. His race two back is more indicative of what he can do; slight nod. (1) PAR INTENDED drops and he should be a major player vs. these. (4) HARTATTACK had good late pace last week, but the leaders weren't slowing down. He can share here. (9) SURPRISE HANOVER should wake up with the class drop. (7) JACK RACKHAM is a good one to use underneath in exotic bets.
