Race 1
(7) LOVES ANGEL had her best race of the year last time, but she couldn't get to a strong leader late in the mile. McNair may try to wire this; top call. (3) ANDERSON SEELSTER is capable of better than she showed vs. OSS Gold company when she broke. She should bounce back with a better try here. (2) ODYSSEUS was used up early in the mile last time. She should get an easier trip here, which puts her in the picture. (5) BEACHES BE CRAZY can rally for a smaller share here.
Race 2
(2) ER QUINN and (4) LISVINNE have both faced better recently and they finished close together in their last two races. I'll give a slight nod to the former, who will likely be driven more aggressively early in the mile. (6) PANEDICTINE also faces easier here and he could wake up with a much better effort. The short field helps his chances. (5) CASIMIR OVERDRIVE drops back into a claimer, but not necessarily an easier spot. He will likely finish on the fringes here.
Race 3
(8) SOUTHWIND TESLA was second to a good colt two back here with Roy driving for the first time. He returns here and she should be tough vs. these. (3) PAMPERED IN PINK is trip-dependent, but, she is always a threat to roll by late; using. (2) ROSE RUN REANNA broke a long losing streak last week when trotting to a new life's mark; respect her sharpness. (6) CERSEI HANOVER gets a positive driver change here which could lead to a better result.
Race 4
(10) ALEXIE MATTOSIE lays over this field on class alone and if Jamieson can blast him to the front here, he could be long gone. (2) FLAHERTY was softened up racing first-over pressing fast fractions last week. He should be the main threat here. (3) A MARCOU STORY is a must-use switching to catch-driver Henry, but he could be over bet in the win pool. (8) SINGLE WHITE SOCK fits in this class and he should be coming late for at least a small share.
Race 5
(1) TOTALLY RIPPED gets big trainer and driver changes here and races in a field where he should fit; top call. (9) MURMUR HANOVER was test-driven twice by Roy in the qualifiers and he dropped three seconds in the most recent one; using. (7) MUSCLE MATTERS came to life in May and this is a good spot for him. He is another in with a good chance here. (4) LEXUS ROCKY who mowed down lesser last time is another to consider for Pick 4 tickets. It looks like Vanderkemp has him figured out.
Race 6
(3) WHITE DANCER should be much better here returning quicker and a race over the track should help; slight nod. (8) KLOOF STREET was very passively-driven last time and finished on the fringes. While that same scenario is also possible here in this non-Grassroots race, if she is put into play earlier, she has a big shot. (2) SPORTS BEAUTY goes for connections that are dangerous with this type and could pop at a price. (6) CHECK MACH improved last time, now she gets a positive driver change; consider for exotics.
Race 7
(8) ROCKIN RONNIE returns to the level where he won two back. He should get an aggressive steer from Henry here. (4) FOUR CARD MAJOR continues to be one-paced and finish third every week. He can complete the exotics here. (5) MEABRACH is worth a look on the barn change here.
Race 8
(8) VERO AMORE BI was impressive in defeat in his season opener when falling short from the 10-hole. An improved post and that tightener give him a good chance to score here. (1) HILL YES was an impressive debut winner and he is sure to take plenty of action here. (4) KAMERAN HANOVER looked good breaking his maiden, but he may find the top too a bit too tough here. (7) ODD BALL will be closing for a piece if he can stay trotting.
Race 9
(7) MANHATTAN PLAY looked live until she broke in the stretch last time. She can bounce back here if flat and she should be a square price. (5) TREASURES PEARL was part of blanket finish last time and she was passed by a couple of rivals late after making a menacing-looking move. She should go close here. (4) EVERY TIME gets McNair for a second time and gets a much better post to work from. She shouldn't be a shock and she could be a good price here. (2) P L KAHLUAA could be better here making her 4th start of the year. Consider her for exotic wagers.
Race 10
(3) DREAMY FELLA attracted a claim last week despite moving up in class off an out-of-the-money finish. If he can get into the flow quicker, he should be right there vs. a field that is likely easier than the one he faced last week. (10) RESISTANCE FUTILE drops to the bottom after going first-up chasing an insane pace last time. He is worth including here and his post should boost his price. (9) MITT JAGGER picks up Jamieson here for his return. He is another that can crash the exotics at a price. (7) HES A SENSATION raced better last week. He is usually thereabouts at the finish when racing at this level. (4) BULLDOG TENACITY is worth a look picking up Henry and Lasix here.
