Race 1
(7) BEACH HOUSE had plenty of pace in the lane last week, but he wasn't unleashed until very late. He should get put into this race leaving from a better post. (2) BRINGHOME THEBLUE should be sharp enough now to be a big threat. He needs a better trip, though. (6) DIALAMARA drops and he should be a big player here, but he could get overbet. (9) PAR INTENDED is another dropper to consider here.
Race 2
(5) WILD WEST is tough when he can find a helmet to follow to the head of the lane and he should be able to work out a decent trip here; call to repeat. (1) WHEN YOU DANCE exits a quick mile where he failed as the choice, but he might find these easier; using. (6) STREET BOY can't be dismissed coming off a sharp win. (4) BURN OUT HANOVER faced mostly stakes colts last time and he fared okay. He is another that could take this contentious dash if he gets the right trip.
Race 3
(2) LISVINNIE moves back into a claimer here which could be just what he needs to come out on top. (6) APHRO STAR is on a roll and he is impossible to toss from the Pick 5 for me, despite the move up in class. (7) JACK RACKHAM is in excellent form and he was a narrow loser to Aphro Star two starts back. He needs to work out a trip from out there, but he could do here. (1) ANTAR PHIL can take a slice here if he minds his manners.
Race 4
(5) BILLS FELLA should get honest splits to chase here and I think he makes the final and decisive move past some winded leaders late in the mile. (10) HISTOIRE ENCHANTEE paced a wicked mile first time over the track, but he is unlikely to clear easily and get a 56 opening 1/2 here. (4) SAULSBROOK LANNY should be closing for a slice here. (8) MACH DEJA VU paces some crazy-good miles in conditioned races, but he hasn't been able to transfer that form to stakes races. I'll predict a small share for him here.
Race 5
(6) THE POWER OF MANY adds Lasix here and I'll give him a slight nod in a wide-open race. (1) DEUCE DEUCE DEUCE was a narrow winner last week as he continues to improve racing in claimers. He could be the one to beat here. (5) MOST WANTED LINDY got a perfect-trip win last time, but he did produce a good final 1/4 to do it. Toss him in multi-race bets. (8) AIR GLIDER can come on late for a share again here.
Race 6
(2) SHADOW MARGEAUX drops to a likely spot here and he is hard to look past racing at this level. (1) SMALLTOWN TERROR comes off a good effort at this class when coming off a break. He could take this if he can leave a bit this time. (4) MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS drops and he is sure to be heard from racing at this level. (3) SPEEDLING is worth a look for the exotics stepping up off a sharp win.
Race 7
(9) BLAMEITONTHENIGHT had a good tightener for this racing first up last week vs. elders. With a good trip, she could blow up the tote board here. (4) THE JOY LUCK CLUB is the obvious filly to beat, but I'm not sure a 1:51 4/5 qualifier is what she needs leading to this race. (12) ACTION MAJESTY is hard to leave out and she could get a decent trip leaving from this post with some speed leaving in front of here. (7) STONEBRIDGE SUNDAE fits here and she should make the ticket.
Race 8
(6) SPORTS COLUMN gave Huntsville all he could handle in the Jennas Beach Boy. He shouldn't have any problem beating these. (4) DREAMFAIR B J comes off a sub-1:50 win over easier and while he is sharp, he may find the choice too tough here. (2) REBELLIOUS comes off a very good effort and he should be able to make the ticket off a following trip here. (7) ALL IT TAKES can close late for a smaller share.
Race 9
(5) SEARCH THE LANDS paced home in 55 flat last week when coming off a two-month break. He looks best here. (2) WIND BLAST is in solid form and he will win one soon; using. (9) IOWA NEIGHTIVE adds Lasix, which makes him interesting here, even from the outermost post. (6) SUN MATCH will likely finish on the fringes again.
Race 10
(6) AMERICAN SPORTSMAN tried it first up in a 26 4/5 third 1/4 last time and he couldn't go with the winner and eventually tired badly. His price should go up off that race and he is a contender here; slight nod. (10) MINDTRIP adds Lasix which could put him over the top here. (5) TOXICITY returns from a break and he fits here; using. (7) BETTOR JIN is a good one to use underneath. (9) TWOMACSONESHADOW has been on a roll out of town and he wouldn't be the worst stab here at 6/1 or higher.
