Thursday, September 7
LIBERTARIAN (NW16000) got shuffled a bit in the final turn behind a quitting horse, slipped out, angled wide and won going away.
JACK OF CLUBS (NW1) parked passing the quarter, pulled to the half, raced uncovered, challenged, tired but stayed close to the late stages.
WARAWEE SHIPSHAPE (OntSS) had cover 2nd over and closed best but the beaten favorite had too far to come.
IM WITH HER (2YOF) raced second over and won going away as a odds on favorite is supposed to win and should take some more.
Friday, September 8
DOCS SAUSALITO (NW3FM) left and tucked, got shuffled as the winner brushed and the early leader backed up, rallied well between horses through the lane but had no chance.
HOMEY JOE (NW3) trailed to the lane, came wide and finished with a rush at 56-1 and earned his second place finish.
WIGGLE IT J (NW10000FM) earned her win with a strong uncovered challenge and has been quite competitive in most of her races.
BAD NIGHT MARE (NW6000FM) closed well in wide move at 9-1 and earns a long look in next race or two.
Saturday, September 9
MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS (NW9000) was parked the mile uncovered, grinded up steadily and dug in gamely while tiring.
CHAMPAGNE PHIL (NW14500) followed wide from a distant 3rd over and closed gamely to just miss.
TASTE OF HISTORY (OntSS) closed late and earns a look in next outing.
FINE DIAMOND (NW21000) was the uncovered challenger to the odds-on pacesetting favorite and a very game 2nd.
Monday, September 11
AMICUS (CLMHCP12/15000) got shuffled behind a quitter, cleared inside heading home and rallied gamely.
THE BIG BEAST (CLM15000) rushed to the top, set a steady clim and dug in but was nailed in the last step.
MACHAL JORDAN (NW4000) set the pace under pressure, shook off the challenge but was headed on the wire by the pocket sitting winner. Beaten favorite can atone in quick order.
PHAETOSIVE (PEACEFUL WAY) was used to the lead grabbing control passing the half and proved best in strong victory and should be the one to beat in the final.
Tuesday, September 12
JUSTABIT MEAN (NW3000FM) pulled around dead stuff to the third panel, took the rail, clsoed the gap and finished all out and game to win going away.
DREAMY FELLA (NW2500) brushed and crushed in last and by open lengths.
STREAMSONG (NW4000) came uncovered and challenged but was 2nd best. Beaten favorite can win with that move most of the time.
TUXEDO BAY (NW2) slipped wide and came home strognly but just missed to the tripped out longshot winner.
