TOPVILLE CHROME (2YO) tucked early, pulled to the third panel, challenged, gained the lead late but was outkicked by the tripped-out pocket sitter.
JAYDENS PLACE (NW1) pulled past the quarter, brushed to the lead and was best.
THE ERM (NW3) took the lead, yielded, sat pocket but got shuffled when the leader tired, searched, found room with good finish but cleared too late.
Friday, September 29
MATTJESTIC TEMPO (NW3000FM) rushed to the top, set the pace under early pressure, shrugged it off, got away, set a good clip and dug in gamely while tiring. Beaten favorite can atone in next.
ODDS ON AMETHYST (NW14500) pulled to the half, raced second over the last quarter and roared by for convincing victory.
CHAMPAGNE PHIL (NW20000) tucked, sat pocket, had to navigate wide in the lane around a pack of foes, found room too late and finished full of pace.
GIA DIAMOND (NW6000FM) tucked early, pulled to the half, brushed, drew away much the best.
Saturday, September 30
AMERICAN VIRGIN (PRF) was on the rail to the lane, angled out, closed late with good energy.
PHANTOM SEELSTER (OntSS) tucked, slipped out in heavy traffic in the lane, bulled wider, bothered a foe but found a lane to nail the win but was taken down.
THINK ON IT (NW14000) sat to the rear, angled to the outside wth strong finish but a step or two late.
BAD NIGHT MARE (NW10000FM) closed gamely from third over but just missed. Claimed and could pay an immediate dividend.
Monday, October 2
GHOST DANCE (2YO) had the winner's cover and chased him home at 20-1 and earns a look in next.
BILLS FELLA (OntSS) had far to come but finished wide and strong to just miss the pacesetting winning favorite.
TYNAL PEACEMAKER (OntSS) left well, took the lead, yielded, got a mild shuffled into the lane, tipped and closed but was outkicked at 13-1.
IOWA NEIGHTIVE (2YO) was near the back of the pack, came wide into the lane and closed a ton for game second to odds-on favorite.
Tuesday, October 3
JOLTED (CLMHCP10/12000) had poor cover, went wide in the final turn and rallied gamely through the lane but had too far to come.
CASCADA (2YO) broke at the start and fell far back but rallied steadily and got up for second to impressive winner.
DOMITIAN HALL (NW4200) sat in the pocket sucking along behind the favorite but had to move to the lead when the speed faltered, dug in but was caught late.
RENDEZVOUS HANOVER (NW1FM) had early speed, yielded and was shuffled, came uncovered and challenged but was second best. Beaten favorite can atone in next.
