PLAY IT AGAIN SAM (CLMHCP10/15000) had too far to come in last rallying wide but late from third over. Beaten favorite can atone quickly.

Saturday, September 23
DREAMFAIR B J (NW5) was used to the lead, yielded and was shuffled, tipped in the final turn, won going away and might be in line to take another.
CALVIN K (NW5) trailed to the lane, weaved through traffic, cleared a final obstacle near the wire, ducked inside and finished with good energy.
VELOCITY DRIVEN (NW9000) angled out into the lane and was forced to carry wide, rallied all out and game might get luckier in next.
WRANGLER MAGIC (PRF/FM) was parked to the lead, faced pressure from the uncovered well-bet second choice, dug in gamely while tiring and was nailed in the last step by the tripped out second over mare.

PERFECT MASS (NW2) was locked in searching for room and it cost so do not ignore in next.
DRAFT YEAR (OntSS) was on the rail in traffic, tried to slip out, appeared to misjudge the flow, jammed a bit and broke.
