P L KETCHUP (NW2) was in the pocket heading home when the sulky shaft disconnected and cost him dearly.
D M OREILLY (NW1/2-3YO) left, tucked, pulled, challenged uncovered to the last steps but was a game second.
GILLYS BOY (NW1/2-3YO) was at least five wide following into the lane from the back of the pack and finished steadily. Should not be ignored in next.
SKY GUY (CLMHCP10/12000) rushed to the top, rolled along and left them gasping.
Friday, October 13
PAPARAZZI HANOVER (NW6000) rushed up uncovered, challenged, dug in gamely but was nipped in the last steps.
ARTISTIC MADISON (NW1000FM) went down the road to the last step in game front-stepping effort and could be just a bit tighter to earn the nod.
HES A SENSATION (NW14000) saved to the lane, tipped, set down and closed fast to just miss.
LAY LADY LAY (NW15000FM) put in a solid down the road effort at nearly 12-1 getting headed out by the tripped-out pocket-sitting favorite.
Saturday, October 14
HOMEY JOE (NW3) trailed to the lane, roared home quickly but it was too far to come.
MAJOR HILL (NW9000) sat to the rear, finished with a flurry.
SHADOW MARGEAUX (NW9000) rushed to the top, yielded for the pocket, closed gamely at nearly 17-1 but was short at the wire.
DRAFT YEAR (OntSS) brushed to the top past the wire and was a handy winner.
SMOKE AND MIRRORS (OntSS) tucked early, pulled past the quarter, brushed to the top, opened up was nailed by the long determined rally by the favorite.
Monday, October 15
ROCKIN RONNIE (CLM15000) left wel, took the lead, yielded, retook and was a strong winner.
A BOY NAMED SUZZZ (CLM8000) put in an excellent down the road effor tin last and held well for second at 9-1.
LISVINNIE (CLMHCP15/20000) left and tucked, pulled to the half, lost cover, continued gamely, challenged and had aim heading home but faltered. Beaten favorite will get a better trip in next.
STIRLING BOUDICE (NW8000) finished well from a tough spot in last at nearly 38-1 and earns a long look in next race or two.
JUSTASMALLTOWNGIRL (NW4000) had far to come tipping out heading home and was forced to carry wide to avoid a badly bearing out foe and lost her best shot.
