Mohawk: Horses to watch from July 15 - July 21

Ken Walters|Jul 23, 2014

Tuesday, July 15

HUSTLEONHOME (CLM8000FM) put in a game effort in last at 14-1. She tucked early, pulled uncovered at the half, challenged to the alne, took a lead but was nailed on the wire. Do not ignore her in next race or two.

KIKISKISSINKOUSIN (CLM8000FM) closed fastest of all from an impossible spot at 35-1 and earns long look for future use.

LATE NIGHT (2YO) youngster put in a game grinding score in last and such determination has to be respected.

IDEALBEACH HANOVER (NW2) was backed into while getting ready to move in last and lost any momentum. Give the beaten favorite the benefit of any doubt and hope for immediate atonement.

Thursday, July 17

P L HULA (OntS) finished full of pace from far back and earns a look in next race or two.

VAL DI NOTO (NW1/3YOF) brushed to the lead and went down the road as the only front end speed to win over the track that night.

HOPETOBEFIRST (CLMHCP8/10000) was buried to the lane, rallied gamely threading his way through traffic.

SI SEMALU (CLM15000) left, tucked, pulled to the half, brushed to the top, could not stall the winner but held the rest.

Friday, July 18

MEDOLAND LINDEYLOU (NW2FM) was behind a tired one entering the stretch, slipped out in some traffic, cleared and rallied gamely for second.

O U SEXY GUY (NW6000) was shuffled and buried by the lane sitting behind a tired one, rallied steadily between horses passing a few.

REQUEST FOR PAROLE (NW16500FM) came wide with good rally but was outkicked by the favorite.

DANA DEAREST (OntS) put on a serious late rally to win last as she came from far back and fifth over to catch them all.

Saturday, July 19

MACHAL JORDAN (NW5000) beaten favorite finished fast but too late from back of the pack in last.

I SCOOT SAM (NW9000) won last with explosive late rally and should be able to take another.

JDS CALEB MAN (CLMHCP15/20000) closed fastest of all but had furthest to come.

MODERN LEGEND (NW14000) finished in :26 to win going away in last outing.

Monday, July 21

LITTLE QUICK (CLM8000) was more than a little quick finishing fastest of all but was also more than a little late. Beaten favorite trailed to the stretch and will step it up earlier to atone in next.

WARP FACTOR THREE (OntS) finished widest, late and fastest and earns long look in nest race or two facing own kind.

HAPPY BECKY (2YOF) put in an impressive front stepping victory in last and should continue right along.

AMERICAN SUPERMAN (NW1/3YO) was challenged hard the last three-eighths and dug in gamest.
