DOCS SAUSALITO (NW2FM) made a strong uncovered challenge, took over early stretch, opened a couple but could not last. Can improve a bit and earn the win.

MATADOR MAN (NW1) made a wide brush around tiring cover, trotted strong to the top, had a good lead heading home but tired over the sloppy track.

HIPPITY HOP (NW1) closed strong 4th over in same race and earns long look in next.

WINDSONG MAGIC (OntSS) was wide a long time in the turn and closed well from a bad spot over the tiring, sloppy track and pouring rain.

Friday, July 15

NINETTE B (CLMHCP10/12000FM) gapped to the lane, rallied, hit a good stride too late but closed strongest.

MACH DEJA VU (OntSS) was nowhere to the lane, rallied, came on strong but ran out of track.

BERNADETTE (NW2FM) tucked, pulled as the speed settled, brushed to the lead and that was that.

ODDS ON AMETHYST (NW7000) trotter trailed to the lane and stepped up his speed too late but was another fast closer that earns a look on a more favorable track.

Saturday, July 16

AMERICAN VIRGIN (NW23000) had poor cover but a big :26 3/5 rush to the wire solved that problem. Winning favorite will be heard from again.

POISONOUS (NW2) tucked, brushed, held strong and crushed the field and the variant indicating he should take another.

STREAKAVANA (OntSS) yielded, retook, set a pressed pace and pulled away the last quarter.

HOPIESDRAGNOINTHEDO (NW8400) swung wide, finished full of pace from far back and just missed.

VEGAS ROCKS (NW8400) sat to the rear till the lane, swung widest and closed strongest but had ever further to come.

Monday, July 18

EASY LOVER HANOVER (NW5000) sat to the rear, entered the lane, angled out late and finished willingly. Should improve in next effort.

BOBCAT BOUND (DREAM MAKER) went on a gallop at the start in first leg action but recovered well enough to flash some good late speed.

NIGHTONTHEROAD (NW3) closed well from third over in most recent chasing the favorite home.

FEARLESS MAN (NW21000) went down the road and held on gamely as the lukewarm favorite in last and could be tough to nail with similar effort.

FLANAGAN MEMORY (PRFHCP) was much the best in last and looms strong for a repeat win.

Tuesday, July 19

THE WAYFARING MAN (NW3000) was looped to the lead, rallied to gain control passing the quarter, set his own pace and held strong under some mild rousing.

THEY CALL ME GORDY (NW3000) was quick to the top at over 50-1, yielded to the winner and kept trying through the lane keeping the top one on his toes to the lane.

PENNIES FROM ABOVE (NW2) closed with good energy from third over in last and should be closer when it counts in next outing.

SOPHIE BLU (CLM12000FM) saved to the lane, angled clear of traffic, rallied gamely and closed in hittting her best stride a step too late.
