ONEIDA (NW2) put in a long grinding challenging parked the mile effort in last on a night when the front end ruled. Beaten favorite can make quick turnaround.

GROOVEY KID (CLMHCP12/15000) put in a long overland uncovered journey in last on a night speed was holding well and only missed by half a length.
