Mohawk: Horses to watch from August 29 - September 2

OUTER DRIVE GIRL (CLM8000FM) Finished full of pace from nowhere in last and has to be given more respect than 25-1 in next.

A LITTLE STARSTRUK (NW8000\2YO) Roared home in last but it was a little too late. Should be along in time in next race or two.

MUSCLE ON BROADWAY (NW2) Left well, took the lead, yielded and was shuffled, found late clearance between horses in the lane and rushed home.

MACH IT A PAR (NW2FM) Raced parked, rallied steadily, picked up cover in the final turn, tipped heading home and won going away and has what it takes to win another.

Friday, August 30

LUCKY KING (NW2/2YO) Had plenty of pace with nowhere to go as the field battled to the wire. Would have been a late factor if he found room.

TAKE THAT HANOVER (NW2/2YOF) Flew home from 5th over in last and just missed.

THATLL BE FUNNY (NW8000FM) Finished gamely between horses in last but had too far to come.

MISS MACHQUEEN (NW3FM) Was forced to race wide a long ways, first clearing poor cover then picking up new cover into the final turn, rallied gamely with aim in the late stages but shortened stride.

Saturday, August 31

ROCKNROLL HARMONY (NW2) Closed a ton from an impossible spot and can carry the day with the right trip.

MACH IT BIG (NW8000) Had the pocket, rallied to a narrow lead but was nailed on the wire. Should be tighter in next and rule the day.

FRANKIES DRAGON (NW4) The beaten favorite came uncovered, challenged, got away from all but the late closing winner. Should atone in next race or two.

THEPANINSULAHOTEL (NW14000) Closed well from third over but will not be 50-1 in next.

Monday, Septemer 2

SCARY GOOD (NW8000) Sat in to the lane, found room late and closed stoutly.

ONTHEMONEYSIDE (NW13000) Closed well from an impossible spot in last and should be along in time soon.

DRAVEN SEELSTER (NW2/2YO) Chased the winner home second best in solid effort.

WINDSONG GEANT (PRF) Finished well from third over and has the the late kick has to always get a look.
