Monday, August 24

WHITE BECOMES HER (NW12500) gained the lead with strong leave, set the early pressure under pressure, shook off the challenger, drew away to open lead but tired. Could be luckier in next outing.

DIVAS IMAGE (OntSS) was in a bad blindswitch in the final turn, searched, found room late closing strong. Beaten favorite should have a better fate in next.

GOOD WILL HANOVER (OntSS) was wire to wire and tons the best on the track and on the board.

LISVINNIE (NW3000) closed strong and late from an impossible spot to be close second at 24-1 to the favorite.

Tuesday, August 25

HAPE (OntSS) closed powerfully to win going away on a night when speed held strong throughout the card.

MARION MARAUDER (2YO) beaten favorite sat far to the rear to final turn, came wide, finished with a vengeance but had too far to come.

MASS RAIL (OntSS) late rush got her up for second best to the rated pacesetting prohibitive favorite and she should have no problem putting most away with same move.

WORLD CLASS IZZY (OntSS) made a strong uncovered bid and won going away. Speed was holding well and this one should be even tougher in next.

Thursday, August 27

OLYMPIC SON (NW3) set the pace at 80-1, met pressure, shook off the challenger but the favorite's late kick was too much to ward off.

LOOKSLIKEACHPNDALE (NW3) closed strong from 3rd over to win going away on a night when front end horses were doing most of the damage and can take another.

SPORTS VISION (CLM15000) well-bet second choice was parked to the lead, met pressure the final turn, put away the challenger, rallied all out while tiring and dug in stubbornly but was nailed on the wire by the fresher second-over favorite.

TICKET TO ROLL (CLM15000) two tucks put this one in the pocket heading home at 10-1 and he did not go quietly but a third move was asking a bit much as the two favorites battled to the wire.

Friday, August 28

ALOT OF SENSE (CLM15000FM) closed strongly from 3rd over and gamed out second to the late-closing winner.

MACHNBYRD PRINCESS (NW8000FM) was parked the mile, challenged to the lane and tired. A little racing luck could be all it takes.

MYLITTLESTARSHINE (NW2) was victimized by quitting horses, lost ground, rallied well but it was too late.

DAPPLE APPLE (NW3600FM) weaved through traffic, closed determinedly to miss by a whisker or two in most recent effort.

LADY SHADOW (PRF/FM) wired the field in quick time and looms as probable repeat winner.

Saturday, August 29

HES A SENSATION (NW7500) was stuck behind poor cover past the half, went wide, rallied well but had lost his best chance.

ARTHUR BLUE CHIP (NW13000) left, tucked, pulled to the half, rallied and challenged, pressed the pace to the lane and faltered late. Beaten favorite can get it done with minimum of racing luck.

CONTROL THE MOMENT (Metro) did just that in his elimination and his unbeaten streak remained intact. Should be difficult to derail.

MARLEE B (NW10500) was locked in the pocket with willing pace. Will be no surprise in next.

ALL BETS OFF (Canadian) closed well, late and game. Can be the right one if a speed duel develops in front of him next time out.
