Race 1
(1) MARVALOUS JET pressed solid splits all the way last time and she was unlucky to be picked off late by a closer who had a clear lane up the inside. I'll give her the nod here. (2) THATGIRLISONFIRE put two good efforts in a row together in this class and she will likely pop soon. (3) NO PANIC gets a better post here and she should be in closer range turning home; using. (5) JIMMYS LITTLE GIRL took a share first time in this claiming class and she is in with an upset chance here.
Race 2
(5) JANGONE took a lot of action last time and she trotted to a new life's best; call to repeat. (1) GOLD MEDAL SWAN couldn't close into a rapid final 1/4 last time, but that was a decent effort and he is in with a chance here. (7) GISELE TREELANE is the top sophomore Grassroots trotting filly and her form is excellent, but it's hard to predict how she will be driven in this conditioned race. (6) ITS HALLRIGHT couldn't repel a strong challenger late last time but that was a good effort and she should be in the mix again.
Race 3
(3) MUSICAL RHYTHM was a winner last time he raced in this class and he should be tough here not having to face the likes of Hannelore Hanover. (1) CHARMED LIFE is in top form and she should be the main threat here. (6) MAJOR ATHENS slid up the inside to get the job done last week. I'll use him underneath in this tougher spot. (2) CATCH THE DREAM can close late for a smaller share.
Race 4
(3) CLOUD DIVA was raced into submission in 27 2/5 third 1/4 last time, but that was a very good effort and McNair returns here; top call. (2) VILLAGE JAMIE finished ahead of the choice, but she had a much softer trip. I'll use her under the choice here for the exacta. (10) TRAFFIC JAM exits the same race as the top two and she can contend here, but post likely makes her a fringe player. (6) PHENOMENAL is worth a look for the exotics coming off a good effort following a break.
Race 5
(5) STONEBRIDGE SUNDAE faces no Bettors Up types here and she is a good bet to score vs. these. (1) ROCKN OPIUM moves inside after suffering two brutal trips from outer posts; using. (3) TREASURES PEARL is sharp and dangerous and she should be prominent here. (4) FUTURE HEADLINES faces mostly easier here, but she has missed three weeks; mixed signals from this one.
Race 6
(7) IL SOGNO DREAM drops into a logical spot here and he should convert, although he is certain to be odds-on in this spot. (1) ROYAL CHARM has stayed flat twice straight and she has a penchant for upsetting; beware. (6) HILL OF A COLT is impossible to leave off trifecta tickets the way he has been going for several weeks. (10) FEARLESS MAN may try to blast off and take these all the way, but the choice likely won't let him have his own way.
Race 7
(5) MAXIM SEELSTER comes off a sharp win out of town and this is a good spot for her to double up. Notice she took her life's mark of 1:51 4/5 here last year. (1) AINTSHWEASWEETIE closed well against a sharp winner last time and while she is a contender here, she will probably be over bet in the win pool. (9) AMERICAN CHEER never left the pylons last time in a quick mile, but she did have interest late. She could be worth a swing here if she is let go at long odds.
Race 8
(5) ADVERSITY had an impossible trip here on Tuesday, but he still closed willingly and passed horses down the lane. He is a solid top choice here if he goes on short rest. (7) ST JAMES GATE has improved his late speed in his past couple and he is likely cycling to a win soon. (3) EXQUISITE GLIDE drops and gets McNair back here which makes him a dangerous foe. (4) STREAMSONG can take a smaller share here passing some rivals in the back 1/2.
Race 9
(7) THEWAYYOULOOKTONIGHT faces mostly younger sires stakes foes here and she holds a recency edge on all of them; call to repeat. (2) BLAMEITONTHENIGHT could trip out racing behind the choice here; using. (3) FADE exits a quick dash but she has missed three weeks and obviously has bigger purses on her radar in the coming weeks; your call. (8) SHEWEARSTHEPANTS rarely loses, but these are tougher and she is up against it leaving from the worst post.
Race 10
(8) IDEAL PLAN took plenty of action off some so-so lines last week then exploded to a lifetime-best score. I imagine she's got another good one forthcoming here. (9) GIA DIAMOND raced too good to lose, but she couldn't pass the choice late. She has really stepped up her game of late; using. (2) BAD NIGHT MARE could be a threat late here if the pace slows. (3) BIG TSUNAMI and (10) NIPS BEACH GIRL are two speed threats that are best used on the bottom here.
