(7) MAGIC NIGHT gave it a solid try in Grand Circuit company last time and he rates highly here; top call. (1) JAKE couldn't get to a sharp winner last time, but he should be right there vs. these with a similar effort. (4) CLARION HALL adds Lasix here which could make a big positive difference; using. (5) SAFEKEEPING should be closing for a piece of this.
Race 2
(8) GIA DIAMOND brings good form with her from Ottawa and this isn't the toughest spot; slight nod. (5) MEA LILLEY MARK has been going well at Grand River and she fits here; using. (2) AMERICAN CHEER will likely get played heavily here, and while I'm not completely sold on her, I'll use her in the Pick 5. (4) ROYAL ENGAGEMENT could be closer here with a better trip.
Race 3
(4) P L HURRICANE has been rock solid in two straight wins and she should be tough to upend here as she goes for three straight. (5) PENPAL faces much easier here. She's the main danger to the choice. (8) KIWI FOCUS continues to knock hard and she wouldn't be the worst stab here at a price. (6) BOURBON SEELSTER can take another smaller share here.
Race 4
(1) SASS figures to get a much better trip here starting from the inside; top call. (3) CATCH THE DREAM drops and gets Jamieson, who has had some success with him; using. (9) LIBERTARIAN was ready off the shelf last time and he took a lot of action. Toss him on multi-race bets. (4) P L JERICO steps up off a sharp win, but he can take a share here racing from close range.
Race 5
(4) SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR has been finishing well a class higher without much luck. The class drop here should help; slight nod. (5) BAD NIGHT MARE motors home every week. She's a threat again here. (3) NIPS BEACH GIRL was solid last time when raised to this class. Toss her in multi-race bets. (6) KISS ME OR NOT is worth a look shipping in off a good win at Kawartha.
Race 6
(5) JAN should be tough at this level racing from close range. (6) NASTY RUMOUR was an easy winner in this class last week and she is the main danger. (9) ROCKN OPIUM draws outside again, but her good early speed puts her in the mix here. (1) MISTY DE VIE can pass many of these late and make the ticket.
Race 7
(7) EXHILARATED gets class relief here and she should be right there vs. these. (6) PRETTY HOT steps up, but Ryan has her on top of her game and she is a threat to repeat here. (2) THEWAYULOOKTONIGHT raced tough in this class off a break. She's in with a decent chance here. (9) FOREVER LIZA isn't out of this, but she needs to work a trip out starting from that post.
Race 8
(4) XTERNAL got hung out last time yet was still only beaten five lengths. He has a good chance to rebound from this post. (1) MAROMA BEACH moves inside and he should be a threat from on or near the lead. (2) MACH DÉJÀ VU dueled with the choice last time, ruining his own chances. He should be a big threat here. (6) ALL IT TAKES gets McNair back and they have won two straight together.
Race 9
(9) CRAZY WOW finds an easy spot here and he should have no trouble with these. (4) MAJOR ATHENS raced well last week and he could complete this exacta despite stepping back up. (8) LOOKSLIKEACHPNDALE faces easier here - apart from the choice - and he should make the ticket. (7) BIG RICH has been going well of late, but these are much tougher.
Race 10
(8) NO PANIC has excelled in this class with Filion driving and they are a solid bet to take another here. (2) JIMMYS LITTLE GIRL almost won last time she raced in this claiming class. She has upset potential here. (7) THATGIRLISONFIRE was a strong 2nd to the choice last time. She should make the tri here. (5) FIFTYSHADESOFBAY comes off a solid Flamboro win and she could get a good trip near the front here. (1) DRY CREEK LIS should share off a following trip.
