Race 1
(8) WANDA BAYAMA had a tough trip vs. a classy winner last week, but she did well to keep trying hard and hold third. She makes her third start out of the Cullen barn here which should mean all systems go; top call. (5) RIDE AWAY SHARK was used hard early from the worst post and she finished just behind the choice. She should be a top contender here. (3) REGAL LUCK beat both top two choices but she did no work until late. She could be overbet here and I will play to beat her. (2) BAROCKEY is one that I can never seem to figure out, but, she figures to be a contender racing on the pace here.
Race 2
(6) MAJESTIC KAT provided perfect cover for the winner last time and still almost held on. She can turn the tables here if she makes front at some point and avoids roughing it on the outside. (9) ROYAL WITCH drops out of a fast OSS Gold race. She is a big speed threat here. (1) GISELE TREELANE nailed the choice right on the money last time and it's notable that she has two races straight without breaking; using. (2) ANIKADABRA is a good one to use underneath in Tri and Super bets.
Race 3
(5) AMERICAN SARA stayed in last time which should have her loaded for a sharp speed try here and she does return quicker this time; top call. (6) JEWELONTHEBEACH N has been sharp in all her local starts, but these are tougher and she will need to find more speed here. (3) ACTION MAJESTY faces her elders here and while she is competitive, she may be given a conservative drive with more lucrative sires stakes coming up. (7) STONEBRIDGE SUNDAE has a similar has a similar profile as Action Majesty, but she can take a share here.
Race 4
(10) PRETISSIMO - a $34K Harrisburg sale buy - is a 1/2-sister to six winners that have made 74 combined trips to the winner's circle. She paced her back 1/2 in 55 3/5 in her lone qualifier and obviously has some talent. I'll take a swing here, 10-hole and all. (6) MITTANY NICOLE gets some huge class relief here and she should be prominent. (1) SPORTS ALERT woke up with a big effort last time. She's a contender here. (5) TWICE AS SPICY ships in off a win and gets Henry; consider for Tri and Super bets.
Race 5
(3) LOVE TO ROLL drops in class with suspect form here, but she gets a slight nod in a head-scratcher that demands wide Pick 4 and Pick 5 coverage. (4) PALM PATROL is worth a look returning for Auciello off a decent qualifier where she showed late interest. (7) HEX is typically close at this level, but rarely wins. She has a shot in this field. (9) MATTJESTIC TEMPO could blast off the gate then sit a good trip near the lead here. She is useable, too.
Race 6
(5) CRYSTAL GUMDROP is still 1 for 18, but she has been racing better and needs only a decent trip one time to nail down that elusive second win. (8) TICKET TO SEATTLE fell just short last week in a good effort and she is probably the one to beat here. (1) JILONA is capable of taking these coast-to-coast if she minds her manners this time. (3) ANGORA SEELSTER is in good form, but with the trainer listed to drive a smaller share is likely here.
Race 7
(9) WHERE ARE WE was out a long way last time and she paid the price late in the mile. Henry should know now that she does her best racing on the lead and blast off the gate this time. (5) ANNACLOY showed nothing in her Mohawk debut, but she gets a much better post here and aggressive teamster Drury; using. (3) MACH MAJORETTE is hard to love on top based on her form, but in this field, she has a decent chance. Toss her in the Pick 4. (8) SKYFALL SENA ships in, goes for Moreau/Roy and comes up tagged. There are plenty of angles to consider there.
Race 8
(7) ALPHA SEELSTER beat one that came back to win Tuesday night here. He is in sharp form and he may be a good price again; nod. (8) R FIRST CLASS is obvious as a OSS Gold winner facing Grassroots company and while he should be hard to beat, he is almost sure to be odds-on here. (2) ROSBERG should take a share here racing close to the pace. (6) LUCYS MAN is worth a look for the Tri and Super after an uncharacteristic miscue last time.
Race 9
(6) WRANGLER MAGIC and (5) SANDBETWEENURTOES are the queens of this class with the former having taken the last two decisions over the latter. Both should be used in the late Pick 4, as the decision will likely come down to trip here. (3) REQUEST FOR PAROLE always tries hard and brings home a good check every week. If there is going to be an upsetter here, it will be her. (1) EXHILARATED figures to close late to make the Tri or Super ticket.
Race 10
(8) BIG TSUNAMI was sharp in victory in her first start out of a new barn. She fits well here; call to repeat. (2) NINETTE B was no match for a class-dropping leader last time, but these are easier and she should be right there. (1) CAYO LOCO has a win and a 2nd the last two times she raced in this class; using. (5) JUMP JIVE AND JAM raced well against a strong winner last time. She's worth a look at a price here. (4) SANDY WIN comes off a solid win out of town and she could better this placing with Roy at the controls.
