Race 1
(5) LETS HAVEA PARTY was solid in her Mohawk debut, now she comes back quicker and she should be tighter; top call. (7) COLUMNIST is in with a chance but she needs to start her move earlier. Henry - who continues to run hot - should be more aggressive here. (2) COLLECTIVE WISDOM was the beneficiary of a perfect trip last time, but she was impressive down the lane and she should be a factor here. (6) MISTY DE VIE is a good one to use on the bottom here.
Race 2
(9) MUSCLE HIGH lost all hope when he stepped on a wheel at the start and blew up last time. Price goes up as he moves outside here. I'll stick with him. (2) ON FIRST is clearly the one to beat coming off a narrow OSS Gold loss; using. (5) FONDUE has missed some time, but she can close for a slice here. (8) WINNING LYRIC finally broke his maiden and he did it in style, but he faces much tougher here; small share predicted.
Race 3
(2) P L HURRICANE drops again and retains Filion who should be putting her into action much earlier this time; top call. (5) EXHILARATED also drops, finished just ahead of the choice last time and is a logical contender. (1) THE EMPIRESSISTER N missed 23 days between starts last time. She can be much closer at the finish here. (3) BOURBON SEELSTER is another class-dropper that figures here.
Race 4
(3) STAY HUNGRY is a $150K Lexington purchase and a full-brother to 1:51 2/5 pacer Odds On Delray, who won his first two starts at two. He looks ready to do some damage and he could be odds-on, but will likely convert. (2) INTERNET HANOVER looks like the only one capable of threatening the choice on paper. I'll use him as a Pick 4 and Pick 5 backup. (7) THE DOWNTOWN BUS could get a much better trip here and enter contention late in the mile. (9) DRAMATIC POINT blew up as the chalk last time, but he was out of contention anyway. His price goes way up here; consider for exotics.
Race 5
(8) HAB FAITH is hard to love on top, but his latest effort was good and this is a suspect group; slight nod. (6) MASS PSYCHOLOGY was a decent third last time to a mare that has now won seven straight. Consider that there isn't a single win on any horse's card in this field and that makes her a contender vs. these. (8) MR HOUDINI did a disappearing act late last time, but when he saved his move for the end two back, he was right there. He has an upset chance here. (7) ALERT HANOVER has raced better recently; consider for exotics.
Race 6
(4) WINTER SWEET FROST has really woken up in the new barn and she should be tough here with Magic Presto in the other division of this stake. (2) ON A SUNNY DAY may have been given an overconfident drive last time and waited too late to move on the leader. That isn't likely to be repeated here; using. (6) GLITZEY GAL is fast, classy, but also erratic. I'll use her in the Pick 4 but hope to beat her as she is sure to get bet. (1) THE ERM has a record that is hard to fault, but she is likely to take a smaller share in here.
Race 7
It's hard to see (8) DARLINONTHEBEACH losing in this type of class, but this race could also be a means to an end. I'll use her and improving (6) L A DELIGHT in the Pick 4's expecting class to prevail. (4) SANDBETWEENURTOES looks next best and could upset with the right trip. (5) WITCH DALI comes off an improved effort and she can share here.
Race 8
(1) MAGIC PRESTO was patiently driven in the rain last week and she is the most obvious contender here although (7) DREAM TOGETHER went a big trip in the Hambo Oaks and she can threaten here. Use both in the late Pick 4. (5) DREAM BABY DREAM also trotted a good mile in the Hambo Oaks and she gets a much better post here; consider. (4) SWEET OF MY HEART stayed trotting in a rainstorm last week and used her good early speed to register an upset. This task is much tougher and the best she might do is hang around for a slice.
Race 9
(1) MINDTRIP when last seen was winning his only start of 2016, and pacing a 25 4/5 final 1/4 while doing it. There is obviously some talent here as well as some issues, but he should beat these if all is okay at present. (5) OSBORNE SEELSTER almost stole one last week. He should be a speed threat here again. (8) TWIN B COWBOY had dead aim in the lane but he couldn't convert. He didn't look the soundest on the track that night. Have a good look at him in the post parade if you like him. (6) THIS IS MY SONG always finishes on the edges, it seems. Consider using him underneath in Tri and Super bets.
Race 10
(8) KIWI FOCUS N paced a phenomenal mile last time, battling challenges from start to finish and still almost winning. A slightly easier trip gets her a win here. (7) HOT SPOT HANOVER takes another class drop and she should go close here. (6) NINETTE B can't be ignored in her good recent form. (1) MISS COCO LUCK should take a smaller share off a following trip here. (4) BAROCKEY almost lasted on the engine last week, but some of these are tougher foes; small share predicted.
