Race 1
(3) ACTION MAJESTY continues to be passively driven in the early stages of these conditioned races, but she fires home quickly every week. If she gets put into the flow here, she should beat these. (6) WIGGLE IT J is capable of a far better start than she has shown in her past two races. She is another that will be right there if she is put into action early. (5) RIDE AWAY SHARK moves in a few posts and she should get a good trip on the pace; using. (8) P L HURRICANE is another that can blast early then sit a good trip. I’ll use her in a very tough race to predict starting the Pick 5.
Race 2
(5) APPRENTICE M trotted a big mile in her debut to just miss in an OSS Gold event. She looks best here and this is where I will single in the Pick 5. (3) MISS MIMI is impeccably bred and bound to wake up at some point; consider for exactas and tris here. (6) SORCERESS SEELSTER will be the one they have to catch. (1) ILLUSIONEESTA can take a share racing from close range.
Race 3
(4) KADABRA QUEEN is unbeaten in OSS Gold races and 0-for-3 in conditioned races. There is a good chance that the trend will continue here. (6) SMOKE AND MIRRORS has come around quickly and she is an obvious contender. (2) NORTHERN LIGHTNING trotted a solid back 1/2 last time and she is in with a chance to upset here. (1) GOTTA PAY TO PLAY can sit a good following trip and slide onto the ticket.
Race 4
(2) TIGERS WAY moves inside following a nice return mile, and while he might be over bet here, I’ll give him the nod. (3) TWIN B COWBOY took a ton of action, but blew up at the start last week. He should be right there vs. these if he behaves. (6) AMERICAN SPORTSMAN is worth a look coming off a solid mile at Sarnia. (5) REBELLIOUS should close late for a slice if he is kept close enough to the leaders.
Race 5
(8) STONEBRIDGE SUNDAE was done in by a 26 3/5 second quarter last time and she understandably stopped late. The price goes up here and the driver switch to Waples – who has been running hot lately – should help. (3) NASTY RUMOUR goes for three straight from a good post; using. (5) COLUMNIST won in a similar class two back and she gets Henry here. Toss her in multi-race bets. (2) P L KAHLUAA looks good to take a small share, at a minimum.
Race 6
(5) PERFETTO trotted a 55 3/5 back half in his debut after breaking early. If he stays fat here, he should be tough. (3) LEVITATION is the one to catch, but he may not get the same sleepy fractions that he did in his August 1st win. (1) WINNING AMERICAN has shown good closing power in both starts and he will win one soon; maybe tonight? (7) T BARRR took a ton of action last time and showed little. He is likely a fringe player here again.
Race 7
All (6) MACH DEJA VU needed apparently was a driver change to take a new life’s mark last week. He retains Roy here; top call. (10) DUBIOUS CLAIM is capable of producing a wicked closing move on his best day and he is one to consider – even from post 10 – as his price will be good here. (7) AMERICAN HUSTLE gets Henry and he should be prominent throughout. (2) HOMEY JOE should be closing late for a piece.
Race 8
(2) RUBIS PRESCOTT has won several times this year in this class and the move inside may be all it takes for her to notch another win. (5) HOT SPOT HANOVER is dangerous with the class drop and driver change. (6) SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR moves in to a good post position and returns in seven days. She is in with a better chance this week. (8) ARTISTIC MADISON was nailed late by the pocket-sitter last week and she is another that isn’t out of this, but the top three are preferred.
Race 9
(3) BEDROOMCONFESSIONS is one of several dropping from the top class. I’ll give her a slight nod over (5) SANDBETWEENURTOES, who was a winner last time she raced in this class. (2) FOREVER LIZA and (7) WITCH DALI are two more class-droppers to consider in a race that could easily be decided by trip.
Race 10
(4) FADE looked like a new filly racing on Lasix last week when taking a new lifetime best; call to repeat. (2) JUMP JIVE AND JAM pressed and overcame some wicked splits to get the job done and take a new speed badge; using. (7) MANHATTAN PLAY is in solid form and she can come late for another slice here. (6) THE JOY LUCK CLUB has missed close to a month and this start is likely a primer for an upcoming OSS Gold engagement; small share predicted. (3) AINT THREE OK has a similar scenario to The Joy Luck Club and she is likely to finish on the edges.
