Race 1
(4) HUDSONS YA YA has shown enough racing in Grassroots company to be competitive here, but this race is wide-open and it makes sense to price shop here. (3) CRYSTAL GUMDROP raced better over this track. She is in with a decent chance returning to the bigger oval. (6) HILARIOUS HONEY qualified with trotting hopples on, then took them off and broke her maiden at Grand River. Maybe her connections have her figured out now. (2) TICKET TO SEATTLE should get a good trip here and driver Macdonald is having a good meet; using.
Race 2
(5) SHEWEARSTHEPANTS is the hottest horse on the grounds and she will be tough to beat in here again as she shoots for five straight wins. (1) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE was terrific last week with Filion driving for the first time. She is the logical alternative to the choice. (3) ROSE RUN SAMANTHA gets a catch-driver for the second straight week. She is worth a look for the exotics. (6) SNAPPY DRESSER is a good one to use on the bottom as she regularly passes horses late.
Race 3
(4) MAJESTIC KAT should get a much easier trip here dropping out of OSS Gold company; top call. (6) ANNIKADABRA adds Lasix here coming off some decent miles. She should contend in this field. (2) MILLERS SONG knows where the wire is and Roy sticks. She has only missed the board once and she should make the ticket again here. (1) JILONA woke up at Grand River and won for the first time this year. Henry has been hot and she wouldn't be the worst stab here.
Race 4
(5) AMETHYST SEELSTER got hung out last time which cost her late, but she didn't stop totally. A better trip gets it done here. (9) SO BANANAS was a decent third in her debut and she should be a threat here if she is put into action early. (8) SUNDAY AFTERNOON has flashed good late speed in both starts. She is in with an upset chance here. (10) COLOR ENVY is another that can improve at a price here.
Race 5
(2) HOT SPOT HANOVER races better off a helmet and she should be able to work out a good trip here; slight nod. (1) BERNADETTE is another that will likely be forced to change tactics here with so much speed lined up to her right, but she too could trip out. (3) DAZZLING ROCKETTE is usually tough at this level and moving inside could help here a bit here. (6) AMERICAN SARA is on a roll, but this is a salty field; smaller share expected this time.
Race 6
(7) MANOFMANYIMAGES couldn't get untracked against a loose class-dropping leader last time, but he still trotted a quick final 1/4. He should be tough in here. (3) MUSCLES FOR LIFE adds Lasix and gets McNair back here; using. (3) DOMITIAN HALL and (10) LADY PING are two good closers to consider using in Tri and Super bets.
Race 7
(7) HAPPY HANNAH got untracked racing out of town and free-legged for the first time. She might be a good price here and worth a play in this field. (10) MATTJESTIC TEMPO faces easier here and she will likely get sent hard off the gate by Waples. (4) TOPVILLE CHEETAH returns quickly and drops in class again. Sharp improvement is possible. (9) UNO CINCUENTA is a good one to use on the bottom of Tri and Super bets as she frequently closes ground late to finish on the fringes.
Race 8
(5) BEDROOMCONFESSIONS motored home to double up last week and now that she has hit her best stride, she is not outclassed here. She should also bring a square price again; slight nod. (8) L A DELIGHT had a useful opener last week and she should improve off that effort. (6) REQUEST FOR PAROLE is always a threat, although she may get overbet in this spot. (7) FOREVER LIZA is in sharp form and should be considered when making exotic plays.
Race 9
(6) BRITTLE has been right there every time she has raced in this class and she rates highly vs. these. (9) ANNACLOY makes her first start for trainer Pereira and attracts McNair while coming up tagged. I'll toss her on my Pick 4 ticket. (8) MIRACLE MATTY frequently shares when in for a tag. She is a good one to use underneath. (5) MACH MAJORETTE is another that will be passing rivals late, likely to take a smaller share.
Race 10
(1) WIGGLE IT J had a nightmarish trip last time now she gets to drop again and moves in nine post positions. She should be very hard to beat here. (2) NINETTE B also moves inside and she looks like the main threat here. (3) KATIES BEACH steps up off a sharp win, but she isn't likely to get the same trip here. (4) MISS COCO LUCK should grab a slice racing from close range. (10) CASE DISMISSED isn't out of this, but post 10 likely relegates her to a minor award.
