Race 1
(9) NORTHERN STARLIGHT exploded with a powerful and predictable win when she shipped in from New Jersey earlier this month. She faces better here, but has a good shot to repeat. (3) GISELE TREELANE is another that powered her way to a new life's mark when taking her 2nd win in three starts this year. She should pose a big threat if she stays flat. (7) CLARION HALL was no match for a strong winner in his season debut, but, he is another that improved sharply and he isn't out of this. (5) HILL YES can take a share here if he can avoid blowing up like he did at the start last time.
Race 2
This race appears to boil down to a two-horse race on paper. (4) TRUMP THAT - a $80K Lexington sale buy - was very impressive qualifying on June 10th. He is a full-brother to 1:49 3/5 pacer Beach Gal, who won her debut in 1:54 2/5 and he gets the nod over (8) ATTHEBEACHHANOVER. The latter - a $92K Harrisburg sale purchase - is a 1/2 brother to Mohawk Warrior (1:50 1/5 s.) who also won his debut in 1:56. He is the main threat to the choice. (5) POKERFACE BLUECHIP and (3) NOTABADGAME are to that I would use underneath in Tris and Supers.
Race 3
(2) NAUGHTY LADY B tried to leave last time, but too many of her rivals had a similar plan. The class drop here could see her taking these coast-to-coast. (5) YOUR MY SECRET keeps getting closer and teamster Henry has been hot; using. (6) BIG TSUNAMI almost won last time she raced in this class. Expect an aggressive move by McNair at some point of this mile. (1) RIDE AWAY SHARK should take a share after racing close up here.
Race 4
(3) MANCEIVER took a lot of mutual support last time then went a long way on the front end. He is one of several that can win this; slightest nod. (7) FACE OF WAR took a new life's mark when winning in this class two starts back. This one should be blasting off the gate here. (4) FREDDY BEAR improved dramatically last time when McNair took over the reins. He has to be considered a repeat candidate. (6) WHO SAID NOT TO is another that fits in this class that can win with the right trip. Driver Macdonald won five here on Tuesday.
Race 5
(1) BLENHEIM may just have this race fall into his lap late if he doesn't get too far back starting from the inside. The pace scenario appears to suggest a race filled with action from start to finish. (8) SASS raced great considering how long he was hung out last week. He can take this with a slightly easier trip. (7) STONEBRIDGE PEACE raced tough last time and she only got soft very late. She should be in the thick of things here. (10) FINISH LINE drops again and he should take at least a small share, maybe more, depending on trip.
Race 6
(3) MISS COCO LUCK left for the front, let one go, then got shuffled right out of the race when the winner made a huge move to the front on the backside. She should fare much better here if she takes a similar approach. (1) LUXURY VACATION drops and gets a good post for her. A repeat of her win two back wouldn't shock. (9) MEA LILLEY MARK won in a similar class a few starts back and she can use her good early speed to get position here. Toss her in your Pick 4 bets. (6) JUSTABIT MEAN can close in late for a minor award.
Race 7
(7) ROYAL CHARM was left with too much to do with the pace accelerating last week. A better post helps here and she should get the job done vs. these, but she will be a short price again. (1) LADY CATERINA could wake up with the re-classification here and she should be a square price. (10) NEILS GOLDEN GIRL finished ahead of the choice last time, but there is a big post position swing here. (8) ESCUELA is capable of much better than what you see in the program. Consider tossing her in vertical wagers.
Race 8
(4) KIWI FOCUS N dug in gamely down the lane last Saturday to set a new life's mark. The step up here isn't that great; call to repeat. (5) P L HURRICANE should be a big threat racing on the lead or out of the pocket with the class drop here. (6) PRETTY HOT also faces easier and could easily wake up with a much better mile. (1) REQUEST FOR PAROLE is classy and she tries hard every week. She is a hard one to toss completely.
Race 9
(6) FASHION ROCKER has raced well in both starts since shipping in from London and she has some upside. Roy will get her home first one of these weeks. (4) ARTISTIC MADISON had dead aim on the leader in the stretch last Saturday, but she couldn't close the deal. Class relief should help here. (7) BUTTERMILK HANOVER made a huge move on the backside to crush her rivals in her first start out of a new barn. She will need to be faster vs. these, but she would be no big surprise if she doubled up. (5) GIA DIAMOND rarely misses a check. She should be closing for a piece of this.
Race 10
(2) STYLISH BEACHWHERE was a winner in this class two back and an inside draw is good for her; top call. (1) KAYS SHADOW is in great form and she will likely be the one to catch turning home again. (7) DAZZLING ROCKETTE keeps getting bet heavily in this class, but she has yet to convert. She can take a slice here. (9) CASE DISMISSED took a new life's mark last week for Cullen and she has a great late kick on her best days. She is a good one to use underneath here. (10) REGAL LUCK is another that can close late for a smaller share.
