SPOT PLAYS: 10 - 22 / $55.70

Race 1

(7) E T PHONE HOME went such a big trip from the 10 hole last time in his season debut that it's hard to imagine him getting beat here - unless he breaks, which you can see on his card is possible. I am going to gamble a bit and single him in the Pick 5. (10) LATE SHIFT remains winless, but, he was on the pace in some quick fractions last time which project his as competitive in this field. (9) ROUTINE raced well over an off track two back. He could share here at a price if he trots the whole way. (6) CHARMBO CHROME is capable of much better than he showed in his season debut. Keep him in mind for the bottom of Tris and Supers.

Race 2

(3) STYLISH BEACHWHERE was hung a long way last time vs. much better. Expect a much-improved performance here. (2) SARAH COLA has two rapid wins at Buffalo showing on her card and her trainer has popped with a shipper here recently with Zeron driving; consider. (5) DAWN SHOOTER had a beautiful trip on the lead to win last week. I expect her to get challenged earlier here and stick for only a smaller share. (4) CLEAR IDEA had clear sailing up the inside last time, but she couldn't catch Dawn Shooter. She, too, is logical for the bottom of the Tri or Super.

Race 3

(1) MAJESTIC KAT trotted a solid trip first up in her season's debut. The inside part of the track an innermost post seemed to be better last weekend; top call. (2) THE BACK NINE had a good debut where he closed quickly to pass some horses in the fast last quarter. He is a danger here. (5) REGAL MAGICIAN had an eventful debut race. Assuming things go a little better for him here, he can take a share. (8) BLAMEITONTHEWHISKY can also rally late for a share here in a race which has seemingly few contenders.

Race 4

(8) GLAMOUR SEELSTER gets McNair back and faces easier. Expect a more aggressive try this time. (4) PRETTY HOT paced a huge mile on the rim last time and she somehow stayed game to the end. A better trip is likely here, which makes her a threat. (1) WASAGA BEACH drops and adds Lasix; sharp improvement is quite possible from this mare. (10) OUR HOT MAJORETTE closed sharply last time after being held up in traffic. She can close here for another piece of this.

Race 5

(2) WINDSUN GOTHAM should be tough here racing on or near the lead. (1) SHARKY SHARK had a brutal trip last time but once he was clear, he flew late. The 1 hole has been better recently. Use him in exotics. (4) ROCK THIS WAY is capable of much better then he showed last time. Maybe he is much better racing anywhere but on the lead. (3) BET ON BRETT couldn't get close to a sensational winner in Grassroots company on Sunday night. He fits better here and can share.

Race 6

(9) PROFOUND PATIENCE moves to Henriksen's high percentage barn here and it's not like we haven't seen him drop a bomb from an outer post before. I'll take a stab here. (6) AWOL HANOVER was pushed hard often last time which led to his demise. He can rebound here. (4) ROSE RUN REANNA fell just short in a good effort last time when the race totally set up for the winner. She is winless in 31, but might get a win soon. (1) ODD BALL is hard to leave out with the sharp late kick he has been producing.

Race 7

(4) SANDBETWEENURTOES has won the last four of these and the addition of some new shooters may help her price a bit here. I'll stick with her. (3) WIGGLE IT J ran out of racetrack last week, but she has been racing great and she should be a big price here moving into the top class. I'll toss her on my Pick 4 ticket. (5) BEDROOMCONFESSIONS is obviously one of the best in here and she qualified well; using. (2) WRANGLER MAGIC should get a much better trip here leaving from the inside. She has upset possibilities.

Race 8

(5) BUGATTI was pressed throughout last week and he still almost lasted. He should get an easier trip here; top call. (1) SOUTHWIND MONTY drops into a claimer and moves inside which could result in a nice covered trip for him. He should go much better here. (8) E L WILD SPIRIT tripped out last week, but his quick burst of speed from the turn to the stretch call must be respected here. (7) VINCENT VAN GO should take a smaller share racing from the back.

Race 9

(3) SANDY WIN chased a monster filly last week and understandably couldn't keep pace late. She returns to a 7-day cycle here and faces what should be easier; slight nod. (4) ROSELILY waited too long to move last week and ended up first-over into the teeth of a 27 3/5 final 1/4. She is a contender here, but needs a slightly better trip. (2) EVERY TIME showed some life late in the mile last week. She is worth Pick 4 inclusion here. (7) HAPPY HANNAH was a nice two-year-old last year, but this barn typically races stakes horses conservatively in these types of races; small share predicted.

Race 10

(1) LAWRENCETOWN BEACH is in super form and he will be tough to beat here again. (4) WHO SAID NOT TO has qualified fast enough to give the choice something to think about, if the intent is there in his season debut. (6) AMERICAN HUSTLE's only bad race recently came two back when he broke. He is in with a decent chance here racing near the front. (2) RICHARD HILL did okay in limited action last year. He will likely need at least one, but he could sneak into the Tri or Super here.

Race 11

(1) CAYO LOCO's form is darkened racing over her head recently. She should do much better here facing easier. (7) TILIKUM comes off a sharp front-end score at Flamboro. She could be tough to catch here if she is sent hard off the gate. (2) JUSTABIT MEAN was a narrow loser in this class three back; consider. (9) CALL IT COURAGE looks sensational qualifying on Monday morning, but can she transfer that to a race for money? Your call. (8) BIG TSUNAMI got closer in her second start for McNair. There are worse bombs that you could take a plunge on.
