Race 1
(9) THE POWER OF MANY goes for trainer Budd off the claim following a narrow loss on a very sloppy track. Roy sticks; slight nod. (8) MEGO MOSS was used up early from the outermost post in the same mile as the choice. He should get a better trip up front here; using. (6) AVUNCULAR is worth a look going for a tag after facing a steady diet of Preferred 3 company at Flamboro. (1) SPICEY VICTOR is in with a decent chance if he can stay flat this time. His only recent break came in his only race over this track two starts back.
Race 2
(8) AMERICAN SARA was a good second to a filly that has improved dramatically and quickly this spring. She should overcome the outer post here and she has a big shot vs. these. (5) DANA SALAAM carved out solid fractions last week, only to be nailed late. She needs to find more late speed to get over the hump. (7) DANCING SHADOWS K closed like a rocket last time, then skipped a week. She is hard to leave out in this field. (6) ELEGANT GIFT - winner of three of her last four - should be an early pace factor, then hang around for a slice.
Race 3
(1) SANDBETWEENURTOES overcame a tough uncovered trip to prevail last week. She is the best of this bunch and will be hard to knock off in her current sharp form. (6) BERNADETTE was game in defeat to the choice last week. If anyone is going to knock her off, it's this mare. (3) REQUEST FOR PAROLE is as solid as they come, but she needs some luck to beat the choice and it's unlikely to shake out her way here in this short field. (5) DAZZLING ROCKETTE steps up to the highest level off some nice wins, but she is unlikely to threaten the top three here.
Race 4
(8) DONNA PARTY raced well here on April 13th on a track she has done her best work on in the past. She may offer a square price here, so this is where I will go. (2) CASE DISMISSED was motoring up late last week and with that clean line on her card now she is likely to get put into this race earlier. (4) HEX brings sharp form to town from Flamboro, but she is no lock here and she will probably get over bet with Roy taking over the reins. (9) CALL ME MAYBE drops back in for a tag and it wouldn't shock to see her roll by them all late here in a race that demands wide Pick 4 and Pick 5 coverage.
Race 5
(1) LIGHTS GO OUT has hit her best form, and while it typically only holds for a few races with her, she could be good for a win here over a track she prefers. (5) GLAMOUR SEELSTER - who had obvious issues last year - looks ready to produce a sharp mile and she is plenty classy enough for these. (3) POP GOES THEWEASEL can improve sharply here in her second start back from a vet scratch; beware. (4) AINSLEYNOELLE has a class ceiling and the step up here likely means a smaller share is coming for her.
Race 6
(1) IRISH SCOTCH had only one win last year, but it was a lifetime-best effort over this track. With a couple of tighteners under his belt, I'll take a stab here in a race where it looks like anything's possible. (7) WINDSUN MISSILE improved his overall speed last time while doing no noteworthy work of his own. He is in with a chance here, but I wouldn't take a short price. (2) SUMMIT CITY NATE is capable, but often has gait issues. If he stays trotting here, he should be in the mix. (10) MAJESTIC PRESENCE has won several times from outside posts, always at big odds; don't overlook.
Race 7
(8) WIGGLE IT J had a ton of pace in the lane last week, but she couldn't find enough room early enough to put it to use. Expect an aggressive try here from Cullen. (5) ONYOURMARKNATAVA raced well last week and was creeping up on the winner late. She should make the Tri ticket here. (7) EVERY TIME gets McNair back following a solid effort against a filly that would likely dust this group. She is an exotics factor here. (3) BACK YARD BABY is a longshot to consider for the bottom of the Super. She could sit a following trip and clunk up for 4th.
Race 8
(7) TUSCANS MEMORY ships in from Flamboro on a real roll. He looks best here. (4) TYMAL WIZARD is the main threat dropping in for a tag here. (8) GIRL DRAMA took advantage of a slowing late pace last time. She is more likely to take a small share here. (9) LESLIE ROAD has missed some time, but he adds Lasix here and is worth a look for the bottom of vertical wagers.
Race 9
(7) DEWAR N SODA was beaten by some good mares in her past two while racing okay. She needs to work out a trip here, but if she does, she can beat these. (1) LAY LADY LAY's final quarters in her qualifiers signal that she's ready for her 5-year-old debut. Toss her in the late Pick 4. (4) ART ANGEL BABY has been in solid form for weeks, employing different racing styles; using. (2) BAROCKEY rarely wins when you think she will and vice/versa. I'll bet against her this week with her stepping up.
Race 10
(6) YOUR MY SECRET was making a good move last week, but it was too late in the mile. I'm thinking she enters contention earlier here; slight nod. (10) KAYS SHADOW is another that could take a more aggressive approach here following a good effort last week. (4) SHADYS M THREE closed well last week, but she was bumpy-gaited in the last 1/16th. Take a look at her on the track this week. (1) SING LIKE AN ANGEL figures to get a good trip racing near the front here. She is another win possibility. (7) D GS PESQUERO drops, but she has missed more than a month; mixed signals here.
