Mo Cash triumphs in Benny the Bull

Mo Cash improved his Gulfstream Park record to 5 for 9 Saturday when he darted to a 4 1/2-length win over Mr. Jordan in the $100,000 Benny the Bull. It was another half-length back to Hy Riverside in third.
The Benny the Bull was a seven-furlong race for 3-year-olds and up bred in Florida.
Mo Cash ($4.40) stalked the pace in fourth as Front Loaded took the field through an opening quarter in 22.84 seconds. Splash Rules took over through a half-mile in 45.38 before Mo Cash moved to the fore past the quarter-pole and went on to cover the distance on a sloppy track in 1:22.07.
Miguel Vasquez was aboard the winner for trainer Ricko Maragh.
Mo Cash earned $60,000 for the win, which was his sixth from 14 starts. He has now earned $369,464. Mo Cash is a son of Adios Charlie who races for Marco Thoroughbred Corp., and Stuart Zook.
