Mission Impazible's first mare in foal in New York

The first mare has been confirmed in foal to multiple Grade 2 winner Mission Impazible, standing his first season at Sequel Stallions in Hudson, N.Y.

Andora Springs, a winning Capote mare from a productive female family, was confirmed in foal on a Feb. 14 cover. The mare is the dam of three winners from six starters, including stakes placed Bandora.

Out of the winning Conquistador Cielo mare Andora, Andora Springs is a half-sister to Grade 3 winner and sire Luftikus; stakes winner and multiple stakes producer Diversa, dam of Grade 1 winner Love Theway Youare; Grade 2-placed Rare Opportunity, dam of Grade 2 winner Street Sounds, stakes winner Silver Highlight; stakes winner and Group 3-placed Sensitivity, whose daughters include stakes producer Catch The Moon; and stakes-placed Adoradancer, dam of Grade 2 winner and sire Saint Anddan and stakes producer Jumeirah Beach.

Andora Springs' second dam is Grade 1 winner and influential producer Sabin.

Mission Impazible, a 6-year-old Unbridled's Song horse, won or placed in nine graded stakes events, earning $1,284,949. He won the Grade 2 Louisiana Derby in 2010, then returned to Fair Grounds the following year to capture the Grade 2 New Orleans Handicap. He was never worse than second in four starts at the track, all in graded company.

Mission Impazible's Grade 1 placings came when second in the 2011 Stephen Foster Handicap and Clark Handicap, both at Churchill Downs, and when second in the 2012 Donn Handicap at Gulfstream Park.

Out of the stakes-winning Hold Your Peace mare La Laz, Mission Impazible is a half-brother to Grade 2 winner and sire Forest Camp, Grade 3 winner Spanish Empire, stakes winner Kiddari, and stakes producer Adaline. He is standing his initial season at Sequel for $7,500 when the foal stands and nurses.
