Misremembered to stand at Hill 'n' Dale

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Last year's Santa Anita Handicap winner, Misremembered, will enter stud at Hill 'n' Dale Farm in Lexington in 2012. He will stand for $7,500 live foal.

The farm, operated by John Sikura, made the announcement late Wednesday afternoon. Owners Jill Baffert and George Jacobs retired Misremembered from racing on May 5. A 5-year-old Candy Ride ridgling, Misremembered defeated Neko Bay in the 2010 Santa Anita Handicap to earn his Grade 1 stripes. He also set a track record in Hoosier Park's 2009 Indiana Derby when he won the 1 1/16-mile race in 1:40.80. He also won the Grade 2 Swaps Stakes in 2009 and the 2011 Santana Mile Stakes. He earned more than $1.3 million.

Misremembered is the first stakes-winner for his dam, the graded-winning Quack mare Beyond Perfection.
