Fasig-Tipton will auction Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird's 2-year-old half-brother at its upcoming Midlantic juvenile sale in Timonium, Md.\nThe company announced Tuesday that consignor Cary Frommer has added the colt, sired by Yonaguska, to her 25-horse consignment for the \nauction, which takes place May 18-19.\nMine That Bird, who won the May 2 Derby at 50-1, is a son of Birdstone and the unraced Smart Strike mare Mining My Own.\n"After the Kentucky Derby, one of Cary's longstanding clients decided to make hay while the sun was shining by offering the colt at Timonium," Fasig-Tipton's chairman, Walt Robertson, said. "You don't get a better pedigree update than a Kentucky Derby-winning half-brother."\nThe colt will go through the ring on May 18 as Hip No. 107. He first sold for $72,000 at the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale, where Frommer was listed as the buying agent.\nUnder-tack previews for the sale will take place at Timonium on May 13-14 at 10 a.m. Sale sessions start daily at 10 a.m.
