Mind Your Own Biz led from start to finish winning the $50,000 Jim Edgar Illinois Juvenile by about 2 3/4 lengths Saturday at Hawthorne.

Leading rider Jareth Loveberry was up for trainer Larry Rivelli in this 6 1/2-furlong dash for 2-year-olds bred in Illinois and either registered or conceived in the state. Off splits of 22.83, 46.01, and 1:11.89, Mind Your Own Biz ($2.60) was timed in 1:19.15 over a fast main track. Rip It Ryan rallied mildly for second, while first-time starter Baba Lou finished third.
