LEXINGTON, Ky. - Mimi's Bling, winner of last Friday's Grade 3 Franklin County Stakes, is a late entry to Fasig-Tipton's November sale catalog. The auction house announced Monday that Mimi's Bling, a 3-year-old Bernstein filly, will sell Nov. 7 as Hip No. 187 and will be the last horse through the ring. The one-day sale takes place at Fasig-Tipton's Newtown Paddocks headquarters in Lexington, Ky. , starting at 4 p.m. Bred by David Hager II, Mimi's Bling was the 33-1 winner of the Franklin County over Canadian Ballet, bringing her career line so far to 3 wins in 10 starts for $115,494 in earnings. Trainer Eddie Kenneally and Peter Kerwin race her in partnership. The Franklin County Stakes was the first stakes win for Mimi's Bling. Mimi's Bling is out of the Meadowlake mare Meadow Oaks, making her a half-sister to Custom for Carlos. That 4-year-old More Than Ready colt is a three-time Grade 3 winner this year and also is Grade 2-placed. The Eaton Sales agency will consign Mimi's Bling to the auction as a racing or broodmare prospect.
