Millennium Farms restarts consignment operation

Ro Parra’s Millennium Farms will rekindle its sales consignment operation under the name “Millennium Farms Sales.”

The Lexington, Ky. farm had operated at auctions last year in tandem with Vinery Sales, but their one-year contractual agreement recently expired.

“The Millennium Farms/Vinery deal made sense in that it was a vehicle to expand our reach and grow our quality customer roster,” Parra said. “My business experience has taught me to be in a constant search for a better way.

“Vinery built a wonderful business and we were the benefactors of their successful efforts,” Parra continued. “Derek Mackenzie who headed up the consignment did a stellar job for our customers and we wish him nothing but the best as he moves on to define the next chapter of his promising career.”

Millennium Farms also stands stallions Swagger Jack, Even the Score, Giant Oak, and Student Council.
