Millennium Farms boosts stud fee for Even the Score

Ro Parra’s Millennium Farms announced 2013 stud fees for its stallion roster on Wednesday, headlined by Even the Score, whose success with multiple Grade 1 winner Dullahan this year resulted in a stud fee increase from $10,000 in 2012 to $12,500.

Dullahan won both the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes and Pacific Classic Stakes in 2012, defeating older horses in the latter race and setting a track record on Del Mar’s Polytrack surface of 1:59.54 for 1 1/4 miles. Owned by Donegal Racing, Dullahan finished third in the Kentucky Derby. Even the Score is the sire of 12 stakes winners, including Grade 1 winner Take the Points.

The three other stallions at Millennium Farms in Lexington, Ky., all will stand for $7,500, their fees unchanged from 2012: Grade 1 winner Giant Oak; Grade 1 winner Student Council; and Grade 2 winner Zanjero.
