ELMONT, N.Y. – The former jockey and current television analyst Richard Migliore will begin working as an agent for jockey Chris Landeros at the upcoming Saratoga meet. It will be Migliore’s first foray into being an agent. Migliore said he rode with Landeros in California after Landeros lost his apprentice status. “I always likes him as a rider and I thought he was a very good person,” Migliore said. Migliore’s brother, Michael, is the agent for jockey Dylan Davis. “I watched my brother do really well with Dylan, I know the job, I think I can handle that part of it,” Richard Migliore said. “This kid is trying to make it to the next level, hopefully I can help get him there.” Landeros won 31 races at the Gulfstream meet and 11 at Churchill Downs. Migliore said the response to him and Landeros has been positive. Though the primary goal is to ride at Saratoga, Migliore said trainer Graham Motion has agreed to put Landeros on several horses at Arlington Park on July 13, a card that serves as a preview for the Arlington Million card on Aug. 10.
