Daily Racing Form thanks our readers and customers for their loyalty and understanding as we continue to restore our operations without the full use of our offices close to the epicenter of last week's terrorist attacks in lower Manhattan.

We regained limited access to our 100 Broadway offices Monday afternoon and have begun the task of restoring our data-processing capabilities. We believe we will be able to return many DRF features in the days ahead but issues of public and employee safety must of course take priority.

Wednesday's edition of DRF will begin looking more familiar to readers as we endeavor to add more editorial and handicapping content to these pages. We apologize for the ongoing lack of statistical enhancements such as Beyer Speed Figures, Tomlinson Ratings and Trainer Form, and we will restore these features as soon as is possible.

We direct readers to updates posted regularly here at our Web site, which remains unable to offer full functionality but where any available racing and handicapping features will remain free of charge for the duration of our recovery. We expect to have the "Closer Looks" and staff handicapper's analysis for Wednesday's programs at Belmont Park and Bay Meadows posted on this Web site by late Monday night.

DRF will be unable to publish a timely version of DRF Simulcast Weekly this week, but we assure purchasers and subscribers that all charts will eventually be published on a makeup basis in future editions to preserve the completeness of your racing records.

We sincerely apologize for these temporary inconveniences and promise to do whatever we can in the upcoming days and weeks to continue earning your patronage.
