The Meadows: Post positions drawn for Grade 1 Delvin Miller Adios final

webmaster|Jul 22, 2026
Al Papi 7-18-26
Chris Gooden Al Papi is the morning line favorite for this year's Delvin Miller Adios

Post positions have been determined for Saturday's 60th edition of the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. The $420,500 Grade 1 stake is presented by 1/ST BET.

Elimination race winner Odds On Mr Mamba won the initial draw between the two heat winners, and by rule had first choice for post position. Trainer Melanie Wrenn selected post four. That left Al Papi, the other elimination winner from last Saturday, to select next, and trainer Ron Burke chose post three.

Al Papi, a winner last week in 1:47 2/5, was then installed as the 5-2 morning line favorite, with Odds On Mr Mamba the second choice at 3-1.

The remaining posts were done by luck of the draw, overseen by Presiding Judge Scott Egger, representing the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission.
