The Meadows: Field drawn for $400,000 Adios final

Chris Gooden Hitman Hill (background) got his nose up at the wire in his Adios elimination.
Post positions were drawn on Tuesday (7/24) for the $400,000 Delvin Miller Adios final for 3-year-old pacing colts. The featured race on the calendar at The Meadows is scheduled for Saturday and includes a field of nine.
Elimination winners Hitman Hill (1:50) and American History (1:51) were afforded the luxury of choosing their post before the official draw. Hitman Hill went first and chose post 3. American History followed with post 4.
With Brett Miller in the bike for trainer Chris Oakes, Hitman Hill is the morning line favorite at 2-1. American History will start as the 3-1 second choice with Yannick Gingras at the helm for trainer Tony Alagna.
