The Meadows: Drivers Chris Shaw, James Dodson involved in accident

Driver Chris Shaw was transported to a local hospital for evaluation following an accident in Tuesday's third race at The Meadows.

The mishap occurred when Susy Finn, piloted by James Dodson, took a bad step entering the far turn and fell to the track. Willy The Fillie, with Shaw aboard, could not avoid the fallen horse and also fell, flipping Shaw from the bike. Dodson bounced to his feet quickly but later was scheduled for examination for injuries.
