Race 1
(1) CHAT SNAP came up with a huge mile out of nowhere last week. If she delivers anything close to that tonight, she wins again. (7) BIG BAD BEACH took home a second-place check behind the top pick last week and has yet to finish worse than second this year. (8) PHYLLIS JEAN doesn't look like much on paper, but that is a common theme in this field.
Race 2
(4) HE'S AN AMERICAN rolled down the road in an overnight last time and should be ready for a similar trip with Hannah Miller fresh off a Hawaii/Vegas vacation. (7) CAPTAIN PRIMEAU has found his form in recent weeks at Freehold and Joe Lee has teamed up well with this guy in the past. (6) SIM BROWN was better on the class drop last time and certainly can step up in this field.
Race 3
(2) UF FAST FEELIN showed signs of life in his second start back in the Russo barn. Against this dull group, he just might be the one to beat. (6) STORMIN RUSTLER hasn't been awful and does add Brett Miller. (7) FRATERNITY raced okay on the class hike after the trainer change; Bongiorno's choice over #6.
Race 4
(7) CHEYENNE PATTI drops down and should get sharp in a hurry. (2) FIFTYSHADESOFRUSTY picks up Miller for a barn with solid seasonal stats. (8) POWERFUL LOVE has plenty of form and was able to win 18 times in 2016. Let's see if she can translate her success to the big track.
Race 5
(2) I FOUND MY BEACH is on quite a roll and should prove difficult to beat once again. (1) AMPED UP chased the top choice last week and is clearly the main danger once again. (7) WEGOTATRUCKYEA has a style that works nicely on a track like The Meadowlands; upset chance. (4) CHEROKEE RANGER moves into a barn that can certainly get the most out of a horse.
Race 6
(9) ENJOY THE JOURNEY drops tonight and has to be handled more aggressively, right? (1) MAN OF MUSCLE is in a winning spot if he can find some form. (7) MAGGLIO has some class and that could be on display in a dull field like this one.
Race 7
(4) MOJARRA HANOVER is a classy old mare that knows her way to the Meadowlands winner's circle and tends to step up in blank fields like this one. (2) PAN LUIS OBISPO should be headed to the front for Burke/Bongiorno and provide a good run for your money. (6) JARNAC is not a horse I like to use on top, but she is an exotics must. (7) SMOKE PAN MIRRORS adds Miller and could improve.
Race 8
(9) THERAPUTIC went a decent mile in his first start since early December and should be ready for more now. (10) KARETS has found himself in recent weeks; sharp now. (1) I C CAVIAR went nowhere from post 10; capable. (5) DANISH DURANGO just missed a week ago and should be a factor again in an interesting race. (4) KOLBEE'S STAR switches to the big track after a break.
Race 9
(1) FRESH SQUEEZED raced steadily in her first start for new trainer Al Annunziata. I'm expecting more now and likely a brush and crush attempt. (6) FUTURE LIFE is clearly sharp and should be the chalk while going for three straight. (7) ELIZABETH BLUECHIP should keep her form for new connections. (8) SPORTSMUFFLER drops down and merits at least some consideration.
