Race 1
(6) BIG BAD BEACH has burned money in her last two but based on her current form with these she appears to be routine selecting in the opener. (4) PHYLLIS JEAN hasn't been all that bad recently and she gets a better post to work with. (3) TWIST OF FATE arrives riding a three race win streak although her win last out at Yonkers wasn't that pretty.
Race 2
(1) ELLEN'S STREAK gets post relief off a tough trip last week and she hails from solid connections in these amateur ranks. (6) KARETS was an easy winner last out and can certainly repeat. (7) COUNT SPEED does have good early speed at his disposal.
Race 3
(8) BIG EXPENSE gets saddled with another outside post but with an alert getaway he seems capable of topping this dull group. (9) MAGGLIO raced better last week; consider at a price. (7) HES AN AMERICAN finished belatedly last out after escaping traffic; Marohn's choice.
Race 4
(6) STORMUNN hasn't been at her best of late but the classy mare has quietly put up some nice career numbers; perhaps the fresh set of hands will benefit her. (5) PAN LUIS OBISPO figures to be much more involved from this spot. (7) SNOW CONE A returns locally with class relief but the post does her no favors.
Race 5
(7) WILD SMILE exploded home to just miss at a big price in his first start for Vandervort; veteran certainly seems like the one but don't accept too short of a price. (3) EXTREME YANKEE has raced well in his two starts off the claim and he keeps Brett Miller. (9) POSSESSED FASHION gets needed class relief but may find the outside post too much to overcome.
Race 6
(4) MAJO JUST DO IT steps up with big efforts from time to time and he's back at the claiming level where he's had success. (2) SALEVSTER STALLION gets needed post relief and has plenty of back class to call upon. (8) DAYLYN HORIZON gets Brett Miller tonight and could be a closing threat.
Race 7
(1) I FOUND MY BEACH is a perfect two-for-two off the recent claim and he appears to be in a controlling spot tonight. (5) AMPED UP was a pocket-rocket winner last week; threat. (9) DRUNKEN TERROR clearly fits with these for Surick but he needs to overcome the outermost post.
Race 8
(4) DETROIT RAPPER has suddenly become the camera-shy type but this veteran is capable of dominating any given week. (6) THERAPUTIC qualified effectively enough for Burke and could be ready right off the bench. (8) FOX VALLEY STEFFEN never fired when called upon last week but that was a fast mile.
Race 9
(1) FUTURE LIFE was a pretty game upset winner last week with Marohn; she won't be 13/1 again but certainly seems capable of repeating. (4) FRESH SQUEEZED arrives from Buffalo with good speed and she does like to win; Brett Miller drives. (8) TRY N KEEP UP could be a closing threat over rather dull competition.
