The Nancy Takter barn dominated Saturday morning's qualifiers at the Meadowlands, as the defending Trainer of the Year sent out nine winners in the 2-year-old events. Takter's first victor was probably the most visually-impressive of any during the day as Father Patrick filly Mon Cheval led through fraction of 28 4/5, 58, and 1:26 3/5 for Dexter Dunn and scored by 3 1/2 lengths in 1:54 2/5. A homebred for Solveigs Racing Partners, Mon Cheval is the second foal out of $2.78 million earner and former Trotter of the Year Shake It Cerry. Nancy's dad, Hall of Famer Jimmy Takter, then guided Muscle Hill fillies Selfie Queen and Tippet to wins in 1:57 2/5 and 1:59, respectively, after pocket trips. Bred by James Wilhite, Selfie Queen was a $170,000 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale buy for LeBlanc, Anderson, and Fielding. Her third dam is $1.8 million earner Cameron Hall. Tippet, bred by Windsong Stable and racing in their name today, was a $400,000 Standardbred Horse Sale buy. She's a sister to a trio of six-figure earners in Tight Lines, Long Tom, and In Range. Looks Like Moni, a Muscle Hill colt driven by Tim Tetrick, improved to two-for-two in the baby races for Takter in race eight, winning in 1:57 4/5 after a pocket trip. A Brittany Farms, Libfeld, and Katz homebred, Looks Like Moni is the first foal out of $501K+ earner That's All Moni, a half-sister to millionaire Snow White. Takter then dominated the pacing races, winning five of six. Lake Dora, a daughter of Captaintreacherous was up first, and she won after a two-hole journey in 1:54 1/5 for Yannick Gingras. After that, Tetrick guided Betting Line filly JK I Feel Line to a 1:57 1/5 tally from first-over. Bred by Vieux Carre Farms, Lake Dora was a $95,000 Lexington buy for Rojan Stables, Caviart Farms, and R A W Equine Inc. Her second dam is the great Bunny Lake. A 3 Brothers Stable homebred, JK I Feel Fine is the fourth foal out of $374K+ earner JK FIne Art, a full sister to JK Endofanera & former Horse of the Year JK She'salady. After the fillies were done, Captaintreacherous colt Wearinmysixshooter (1:54 3/5, Tetrick), Sweet Lou colt Market Based (1:55, Gingras), and Western Vintage gelding Navigator (Josert Fonseca, 1:55 1/5), all out of the Takter stable, swept the qualifiers for rookie male pacers. Bred by Fashion Farms, Wearinmysixshooter was a $67,000 Standardbred Horse Sale buy for Perry Soderberg. His dam is a sister to  Just A Jolt ($521K+). Market Based, bred by owners Pompey, Taylor, and Gold, went through the Lexington sale, bringing $50,000. He's the fourth foal out of $1.63 million earner Economy Terror. Navigator, also bred and owned by Nancy, is a full brother to Ellagator ($183,517). In addition to his winners with Takter, Tetrick also tallied with Walner colt Temporal Hanover in 1:56 2/5 and Muscle Hill colt B A Superhero in 1:57 2/5. Trained by Marcus Melander, Temporal Hanover was a $55,000 Standardbred Horse Sale purchase for AMG Stable Inc., Kenneth Kjellgren, and Rick Wahlstedt. Bred by Hanover Shoe Farm, Temporal Hanover's dam Think Twice is a Cantab Hall half-sister to Glidemaster. Trained by Lucas Wallin, B A Superhero is a homebred for the Key family, and he's the fifth foal out of $1.59 million earner Win Missy B. One qualifier for 3-year-old and up pacers was held, and it went to Meadowlands Pace hopeful Southwind Gendry (Gingras) in 1:49 3/5 after a pocket trip. Ron Burke trains the Always B Miki gelding for Burke Racing Stable LLC. Phil Collura, Knox Services Inc., and J&T Silva- Purnel & Libby.
