Race 3 – Trackmaster Rating 74 or less (8) TARAMAKAUREACTOR N stayed flat in his most recent qualifier, but more importantly he finished with a 27 2/5 last quarter and faces a mostly formless group tonight. I’ll roll the dice at a price. (2) BIG ROCKY faded as the chalk last week in only his first start for this barn. I’m willing to give him a second chance. (10) OH MY JOEPA beat a bunch of these from an outside post last week and is certainly in with a big chance. (7) JUST A CAMILION has been in good form recently; using. Race 4 – Trackmaster Rating 80 or less (4) PAULY WALLY came down from Canada and posted a new lifetime mark for new trainer Andrew Harris; sticking with him. (5) EVERY WAY OUT comes off two solid efforts but hasn’t been able to replicate the form from his younger days. (2) DEMOCRACY N gets post relief and has early speed; using underneath. (7) OHIO LARRY is sharp but moves into a new barn. Race 5 – Winners of 20 races & $200,000 life (4) WINDSONG GORGEOUS returns to a track where he has a good history and even raced well to finish third when last here on May 4. Against a field of question marks, he’s as good a pick as any. (3) GLASS PRINCE stopped last time at Tioga in his first start for this barn; could improve. (1) VICTORYDAZE WILWIN tends to wake up in these soft spots. (9) BUCKEYE IN CHARGE raced well last time and gets an interesting driver change tonight. Race 6 – Winners 4-7 races life (5) SPORTS LEGEND has speed and form. Losing to Open pacer Dealt A Winner last time is certainly no knock on him. He could offer value with Sears opting elsewhere. (6) TIVO HANOVER has already proven he can go a big mile. (2) ROCKAPELO is slowly working into shape. Maybe he shows more in his second try on Lasix? (4) SHARP ACTION MONEY looks good on paper if you ignore his latest effort. Race 7 – Non-winners $6,000 in last 5 (3) BURNING MIDNIGHT drops down and adds Sears for a high percentage barn. (1) OCEAN COLONY takes the same drop as the top one and should be competitive. (7) NEW TALENT clearly fits with this class but just hasn’t been sharp. (9) JK WILDFIRE is the opposite of #7. He’s sharp but might be in too tough. Race 8 – Non-winners $6,000 in last 5 - $50K GTD Pick 4 (2) TWINSCREEKS JESSE hasn’t done anything to write home about in a long time but could benefit from a new set of hands in charge. (3) TIE YOUR SHOE ED drops down off a decent mile. (10) ITS JUST TOO MUCH comes off a good race, which is more than most of these can say. (6) BRAVO TEX N raced well out of town but is still showing a lack of desire to win. Race 9 – Non-winners $12,750 in last 5 (6) SEEING EYE SINGLE finds a field without much early speed to his inside and can take advantage. (8) BETTOR’S EDGE is a double millionaire who seems to be rounding into form; loves it here. (5) K RYAN BLUECHIP needs to be placed first-over so he can grind into the action. Race 10 – Non-winners $9,000 in last 5 (7) WHITTAKER N finds a nice cozy spot this week and really should deliver. (8) WHEELS ON FIRE raced well on the class drop last time and gets more relief now. (2) CALVIN B races well over this track but probably needs to move down one notch. (1) STONEDUST has been racing fairly well but looks best underneath. Race 11 – Non-winners $6,000 in last 5 (1) MY DELIGHT just missed with Lasix added last time and could certainly take another step forward. (3) CHANGE STRIDE N moves inside after two solid tries at this and a higher condition. (6) SPIRIT OF TRUTH has been allying nicely of late. (2) BEACHCHIP HANOVER has done well here in the past and the switch to Sears should only help. Race 12 – Non-winners $27,500 in last 5 (7) WESTERN JOE has a couple of starts under his belt now after winter vacation and should be ready to roll. (2) ALWAYS AT MY PLACE consistently gets checks and if the top one is ready he’ll have to settle for second. (4) HUDSON PHIL has speed and form; worth using underneath. Race 13 – Trackmaster Rating 80 or less (2) ALWAYS A DIAMOND has been victimized by bad posts and might show more from the inside versus an abysmal group. (1) JOHN DALLY should be flashing speed from the cones and secure good positioning. (6) ROCKAHOLIC showed some pace from a tough spot last time. As far as fourth, I couldn’t even begin to recommend any of the rest.
