Meadowlands: Saturday 12/7 Analysis

Race 1 – Trackmaster Rating 86.35 or less Series - **$25K GTD Pick 5**
(3) BARIMAH A technically drops in class here and finds a field with plenty of early zip to set him up from off the pace. (9) ANGERS BAYAMA comes to town with a long winning streak and lands in a high percentage barn. (4) WINNING LINC just missed in this class last week and remains a clear player. (1) CITY HALL has a long history of success here and is more than capable if on his game.
Race 2 – Preferred
(3) GEEZ JOE was in over his head from an impossible post in the TVG final. These are the spots where he can gun to the front and put up a big mile. (5) DEALT A WINNER was racing well before the TVG and has proven time and again his worth in this class. (4) ENDEAVOR won the Potomac two starts back and can clearly play with these if on his game.
Race 3 – Trackmaster Rating 79.5 or less Series
(11) IWILLMAKEYOUSAYWOW was used very hard last week and paid the price. Don’t give up on him quite yet. (3) ROCKS NOBLE ARTIST finished well in his second start back from vacation and could certainly move forward again. (5) KARPATHIAN KID comes off a nice speed try and might be able to repeat. (4) MASTER OF PUPPETS has been hitting the board of late; another good check here.
Race 4 – Non-winners $6,500 in last 5
(5) ITS JUST TOO MUCH wasn’t bad last time and now he drops down the ladder. (7) ALWAYS AT MY PLACE has early speed and class; wakeup candidate. (1) DASH OF DANGER and (2) BEACHCHIP HANOVER are both capable in this class given the right trip; using in Pick 5.
Race 5 – Trackmaster Rating 79.5 or less Series
(3) OHIO LARRY lands in a super-easy spot this week and actually gets a good post to work with after two outside assignments. I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t bring a strong effort. (7) DAVID’S DREAM returns to The Meadowlands and the Danielle Dailey barn after spending 2019 in Ohio. He’s done good work in the lower levels here in the past. (8) IDEAL SON handled the jump to this class on November 9. (10) JUSTIN CREDIBLE is racing well but drew poorly.
Race 6 – Non-winners $10,000 in last 5
(6) STONEDUST picked up his game in start three back from a two-month break. He might be ready for a peak effort now; Tetrick’s call. (7) DECOY aimed too high last time and now settles at a potentially winning level. (5) MCTHRILLER wasn’t great in his last race but still got the job done. He’s got the class to handle these on best.
Race 7 – Trackmaster Rating 82.7 or less Series
(6) FATHER SARDUCCI returns to The Meadowlands in the perfect spot against a field that is mostly up in class. (2) LIVE ON took care of weaker last time. Veteran is good enough to take this small jump in condition. (7) SAND STERLING came up short after three weeks off and now Burke brings him to the big track with Gingras; interesting.
Race 8 – Non-winners $15,000 in last 4 - **$50K GTD Pick 4**
(9) TRUMP NATION came off the pylons from the pocket and wound up getting hopelessly trapped behind a wall of horses until it was too late last time. Let’s look for a big effort here. (6) HAYDEN HANOVER was used very hard on the engine and tired last time. He’s much better than that performance. (3) INCREDIBLE SHARK is technically down in class but the top two are good horses.
Race 9 – Trackmaster Rating 82.7 or less Series
(8) OK KUDO comes to town with early speed and form, and he adds Tetrick to the team. I’ll give him a weak call in a tough race. (5) THESPYWHOLOVEDME almost pulled off an upset last week from a tougher post. (4) PARKLANE JET arrives off a win for a barn that has seen some success this meet. (10) BAY RUM was second in this class last time but drew poorly here; exotics only.
Race 10 – Non-winners $6,500 in last 5
(4) SANTIAGO STYLE has only been racing evenly from outside posts lately. Don’t be shocked if he picks up his game against a somewhat non-descript field. (3) WILD GOOSE CHASE drops back down to the level where he was second two starts back. (10) MIGHTY AMERICAN N never got involved from post 10 last time and now lands in that spot again. I have a feeling he’s going to be handled more aggressively this time. (6) MAJOR BUCKS tends to get a piece in this class; underneath only.
Race 11 – Trackmaster Rating 86.35 or less Series
(1) NASCAR SEELSTER was just even last time but he should be hustled away from the pylons here and in line for a winning trip. (8) JK CAPTAIN JACK came up with a huge mile last week. If he can reproduce that mile, watch out! (7) NO ORDINARY MAN is certainly fast enough and he was facing some top foes when last here.
Race 12 – Non-winners 2 races or $27,500 life
(2) GOING GONE HANOVER has put in three solid miles to start her career and should offer some value with (1) JAZZ FEST likely to be bet early and often. The latter is perfect in her career but hasn’t races in a month. (4) WATCHFUL EYE qualified back well but may need a start or two.
Race 13 – Non-winners $3,500 in last 5
(3) MISTER INDIANA really hasn’t been that bad lately and he does get to drop to the basement condition tonight. (7) TWIN B SPEEDO also moves down in class after an even effort. (1) PRIMO GIOVANNI displayed a hint of life last time; moving forward? (4) INDEPENDENT ONE might need a start after missing plenty of time, but he is fast enough if tight and ready.
