Meadowlands Qualifying Insider, 2/9/12

Sunny skies and 38-degree temperatures covered the oval this morning. The wind was calm for the 15-race card.

RACE 5- YOURE NEXT has always done good work over the one-mile oval; qualified well for new connections and looks ready.

RACE 6- FOUNTAINBLEAU VOLO was a morning superstar once again. If he can get it right under the lights, 4-Year-Old has a ton of talent.

RACE 9- CANT STOP ME NOW looked sharp today from off the pace. This maiden filly should be tough in the right spot.

RACE 10- SOUTHERN SPORT came home in 25.4. He has made less than $8,000 in last 5 starts and will dominate mid-level condition horses. | LOCKRIDGE was able to hold third with good stretch pace against far superior rivals; looks very sharp right now.

RACE 12- BETTORS GLASS was kept well of the pace before coming with a ton of late rally; very dangerous at the N/W 2 P-M level.

RACE 13- KINGS LEGEND was super impressive in his racing debut. Look for big things out of this one.
