Meadowlands Qualifying Insider, 1/26/12

The thermometer read 39 degrees, there were dark clouds, and a calm wind covered the New Meadowlands this morning. The track was listed as fast for the 13-race card.

RACE 2- FOUNTAINBLEAU VOLO was doing some nice things at Yonkers before breaking in his last two. The Dauplaise trainee seems to have everything back in order.

RACE 3- TSMLIL ORPHAN ANDY put in a big mile today without being asked and should be very good at the right level.

RACE 4- IN FOCUS blew home in midseason form against some tough rivals; may need one more qualifier but looked very sharp today.

RACE 5- OUREA NOURRIR qualified very nicely today and should fare well in the upcoming Exit 16W series.

RACE 7- IDEAL IN VEGAS was flying late under mild urging; could prove to be a force in the Tender Love and Care series.

RACE 10- FITZS Z TAM has been racing well in upper-condition classes at Woodbine. He made it look effortless today.

RACE 11- SOCIAL NETWORK has displayed plenty of versatility; looks ready to be a huge factor in the Jr. Trendsetter.
